"Excellent location for the beaches at Punta Prosciutto but you do need a car. Accommodation is basic but very clean and for £50 a night is a bargain. We stayed in 4 locations in Puglia and samana had by far the best breakfast. Simone who runs the place was friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. "

"Cannot praise this place highly enough, the owner takes huge care and engages frequently to check that you are enjoying yourself. The breakfast here is unsurpassed, a superb chef is on the premises making stunning local treats for breakfast. There was rotolo and mint cake for breakfast and they were divine. Then she came out and gave me the recipe. Rooms spotless and quiet. Pool an oasis in the heat. Cannot fault. "

"Me and my friends stayed at the hotel for 3 night. The hotel is right on the beach and we were lucky because we had sea views from the balcony-at no additional cost. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room are modern and good size. The only little thing which I didn’t like was that the bathroom door was glass and it didn’t close properly(as I said modern) basically there is no privacy when you go to the bathroom or take a shower. "This is a boutique hotel with only 20 rooms in an historic castle that has been beautifully remodeled. The staff is very friendly and there is a Michelin star restaurant onsite. We had a huge room with a bath tub in the room and a terrace. The pool is very nice with food and drink service. The only negative is that the air conditioner did not work the first night. They did have it fixed the second day."
