"The breakfast, and every meal I had at The Tradition and Heydey Social Club were excellent, and the service was wonderful. Every staff member was quick, efficient and friendly. Ivy at the front desk was very accommodating and helped me get an early check-in and late check-out which was SO helpful. The hotel was beautiful and well-maintained. I would highly recommend to friends and family and would absolutely stay again during my next trip to Austin."

"This is a gorgeous historic hotel, and on the whole we enjoyed our stay, but it is above an all-night speakeasy. 3 out of our 4 nights we had loud base drum sounds well into the morning. This was fine for the adults in our party who could sleep in ear plugs, but my daughter was kept up until 1-2am those 3 nights. If you’re a party of adults- 5 stars. If you have any children or sensitive sleepers- skip."

"Great place to stay with a baby. They have pack n plays and high chairs you can borrow. Also, laundry and dishwasher were a huge plus! We enjoyed the free drinks in the evening as well. The only issue we ran into was the light in the bedroom randomly went off each night. I luckily had a blackout curtain for the pack n play but would’ve been very frustrated if that woke my son. "
