Retreat on the Pedernales River At Stone Home Ranch

The main house has 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living room with a large stone fireplace. Downstairs there's a large patio with seating for 14 and upstairs another, both looking out over the river and the Hill Country.

You can also add a 5th bedroom in the private guest apartment above the garage. It has its own bathroom, a washer and dryer, 2 queen beds, and a full-size futon, and sleeps up to 4 more guests. *** Please note: The base rate covers up to 8 guests, with an additional $50 per guest per night beyond that. The main house sleeps 10 in beds. For larger groups of up to 14, the garage apartment sleeps 4-5 more and is available for $200 per night, cleaning fee included. I've set it up this way so smaller groups can enjoy the ranch at a lower rate.

One of the best things about this home is the private river access. Fish right from the backyard, take out the kayaks that we provide, wade in, or just stretch out on the shore and soak up the sun. Keep an eye out for deer, turtles, and all kinds of birds.

The property is spacious and secluded, with plenty of room to roam. Hike or bike the trails on the land, have a picnic in the shade, build a fire in the fire pit, or stargaze from the upper deck. It really does feel like your own slice of Hill Country paradise.

If you want to get out and explore, there's plenty close by. Spicewood has some beautiful wineries, including Stone House Vineyard, Five Soul, and Spicewood Vineyards. For a thrill, try zip lining at Cypress Valley Canopy Tours. Pace Bend Park offers cliff jumping, hiking, and biking, and Krause Springs, Westcave Preserve, and Enchanted Rock State Natural Area are all within easy reach.

After a day out, you'll come home to a comfortable, welcoming house with everything you need: cozy beds with mattress and pillow protectors, fresh linens, toiletries, Wi-Fi, TV, board games, books, a washer and dryer, and all the comforts of home.
