We chose to stay hear because it was our dream on this backpacking trip to stay in a castle. The castle is beautiful, warm, with the wood fireplace burning. Not our normal sort of place to stay but ideal for our circumstances. Lovely facilities and folk staying at the same time. Good self catering shared kitchen though only as we left did we tumble to the fact that Helen had provided some communal consumables in the kitchen - our loss.

Beautiful quiet, location with great amenities. We enjoyed waking up to our view of the hills every day and using the hot tub in the evenings. We appreciated all of the information about nearby hikes and felt like we were able to fill unwind.

Lovely place. Very clean and the cabin has all you need for your stay. Very remote but that was exactly what we needed. Great for families. Sitting in the hot tub with the gorgeous view around you first thing on a morning is just lovely. Perfect place for a short break.
