"Just stayed as a base for one night as was visiting family in Norwich. Service was very good as got an e mail with checking in details a few hours before we arrived followed by a phone call a few hours later to check everything was ok (10/10) 😀😃 Checked in with codes for front door and then again for bedroom door which was fine after we got used to doing it so not a problem .....just remember the little "*" at the end (9 / 10 not a problem) 😀 😀 In all honesty the room was a bit dated like...

"Lovely quiet location, very clean and the hosts are very friendly. Eveything you need in the room too, kettle, fridge, microwave, hairdryer, iron, fan. ...breakfast was also good!..recommended "

"Breakfast was very good. The food was very good quality. I needed to check out before 8am which is the start of breakfast but the hosts were very accommodating and served me at 730am. Would stay again."

"Overall a lovely stay, fantastic spot right on the river front. Large family room was great and very spacious but could have been cleaner, lots of dust & cobwebs! Food was absolutely fantastic, we ate in the restaurant 3 evenings and every meal was excellent. We were well looked after and the staff were brilliant. Would recommend. "

"The room was clesn and comfortable, housekeeping staff were very helpful especially helpful with my wife who was a bit off colour. The general quslity of catering was better than our last. Our last day breakfadt was goid however consistency needs to be maintained. Front of house staff work very hard, especially Nial, & Jenny. As a former auditor i would suggest a visit by a snag fixer and this place would be cracking. Small changes, massive differences."

"We stayed at this atmospheric pub while visiting Blickling Hall, which is literally opposite. Fantastic location, comfortable room and excellent food. Very friendly staff. Would definitely go again. "

"A lovely property in beautiful grounds. The hosts Su and Paul were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A nice touch was the honesty bar which was well stocked. Breakfast was lovely and more choice than most hotels. I would reccomend a stay to anyone. Thanks Martin and Glennis"

"Lovely stay at the Wellesley. Good value for a basic hotel. Nice comfortable room. Welcome tea, coffee and biscuits. Nice big towels (can't stand the silly little ones you get in some places). Good position away from the main Great Yarmouth area but very easy walk to get there (10 minutes slow walk).Only place I've stayed in where you can't have food or alcohol in the room but rules is rules and i saw that from reading reviews before we booked so happy to conform. Would stay again. Only...
