We loved our stay here. Really glad we chose this spot as the location was incredible. Everyone was very helpful and we loved the breakfast every morning!
Very helpful host-arranged for 2 young men to meet us at Riva Promenade to navigate tourist thronged Old Town to get to accommodations finely located inside Diocletian Palace next to Hilton hotel Vestibule. I was grateful as I couldn’t have manhandled my luggage over the 30 steps to the location, much less the stairwell inside:)))
Our lovely limestone walled room was on the 2nd floor, and we could open our shutters to regulate light. A sumptuous sit-down breakfast was served by the gracious attendant Sandra and included cooked-to-order eggs in addition to the pastries, fruit, breakfast meats and coffees, served in the Hilton courtyard just off the Palace Vestibule where accapella male singers performed daily. Bath was small but manageable for 2. Bedding was comfortable and provided 2 independent comforters for each guest. Lovely toiletries were supplied:)
We really enjoyed our stay at Belle Notte. The location was amazing - quiet but close to the vestibule and all the main sights and restaurants. The room was perfect - although we’d love tea and coffee making facilities but I guess that’s a British thing! The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very professional.
This is a great room for a short stay. The staff are super responsive, the location is outstanding, and the value is wonderful. Everything is within walking range and the Port of Split is only 200m away.
Breakfast is included at Hotel Vestibul, which is next door.
Highly recommend if you’re spending a night or two in Split and want to be close to the Old Town and the Port.
Ivan got us checked in and also got us a parking spot for our car we are driving while we visit Croatia. He was extremely helpful and exceptionally welcoming. If you need a place to stay for a night or two you should book this room. The breakfast included with your stay that is just downstairs is also fantastic. We will be back!
Breakfast was at the Hotel Vestibul next door, and it was an incredible breakfast! I'd go back just for that. The room was clean, well lit, nice bed and very nicely furnished. Just had some issues with the hot water and the TV not working. For what it was needed for (a bed & a shower) it was perfect.
The place was great and couldn’t ask for a better location, right next to the palace vestibule. Breakfast was superb and staff was great. Ivan went above and beyond.

First off, I have to clarify that this room is NOT part of the hotel next door. This is a separately owned apartment. The staff at the hotel next door help the owner of the apartment since he doesn’t have anyone to assist.
The property is beautiful!!! The apartment is also beautiful and historic. (Lots of stairs to bring luggage up but hotel staff next door will help you). That’s why I booked this room. But I thought it was part of the hotel.
If it was not for the staff working at the hotel next door, I would have been in big trouble. They did give me the owners phone number and he did answer when I called.
I was missing an ironing board (which they went out and purchased for the room, so thank you). But the biggest complaint I have is the fact that there is not a functional mirror in the bathroom to get dressed in. That wouldn’t be a problem if you can just go sit on your bed and look about 4 feet across to a mirror in the bedroom. But the hair dryer is fixed on the wall, so there is no way to dry your hair and look in a mirror. (Same goes for putting makeup on)
I ended up walking around town looking for a hair dryer ($40) at a local DM. So I was able to dry my hair in a mirror in the bedroom. Putting makeup on is ok as long as you are not a lady who needs to see closely what they are doing.
Also, there is not even a kettle, coffee, water etc. I had to go purchase water for the room.
The free breakfast at the hotel next door was absolutely amazing and

Amazing location. Center of old town. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Breakfast was to die for.
Great location within Diocletian's palace. Very clean. Great breakfast included. Literally in the middle of everything but still private and quiet. Host was great. Would stay here again.
We loved to be in the heart of old town. We were greeted with such great hospitality. People are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome. Room was very nice, quiet and clean, cold AC , great !
This was the most amazing stay! To be within the palace walls itself was an absolute treat and the walkability is unmatched. It truly takes you back in time and we feel so fortunate to have been able to stay here. The breakfast was also unreal next door!
Excellent historical location. Comfy beds, AC, amazing views, super clean, one-of-a kind location far more special than a typical hotel. Stone and wood but completely updated amenities. To find it, go to the Hotel Vesibul, it’s 10 feet away. That’s also where you will have breakfast, and it’s an incredible breakfast! Loved our stay here and would definitely return.
A really comfortable stay in the heart of Split Old Town, with easy access to the Riva and bars/restaurants. The accommodation was great - clean bathroom, great shower, bed and surprisingly not as noisy as I thought it was going to be, in the centre. Breakfast in the courtyard in the mornings was great. Ivan was a great host.
Check in was a nightmare. I stood in the COLD waiting for them for close to an hour, they refused to text me - instead kept calling which was $$$ for me, then instead of apologizing explained to me that they had extenuating circumstances. I didn't warm up u til the next day!!! I paid extra to make things simple/easy and the opposite resulted. The place itself was great. The breakfast was divine. But the customer service - nightmare.
