Property is a nice apartment but a little on the small side if the intention is to spend much time in it. Unfortunately there is a massive regeneration project taking place on the beach front immediately outside the property and construction work starts at 7am and continues all day. We were made aware of this before arrival and it wasn't an issue for us as we intended to travel around each day rather than be at the apartment. The building work create a lot of dust and the apartment suffered because of this, making it difficult to maintain a dust free kitchen while keeping the place aired. This is not the fault of the apartment owners so I haven't deducted any stars for this issue. There are not many place to dine nearby and this is the reason I have only allocated 4 stars along with a communication issue that although worrying at the time, was quickly resolved by the resort support team on arrival via phone. Local transport is fine so long as you are able to walk up a very steep slope to the bus stop which provides a regular and cheap way of getting around and into Split. Once the major regeneration works are complete I can see this being a very good place to stay in Croatia but I fear the cost will increase to reflect the new surrounding beach area once the work is complete. The support staff were fabulous and responded to any and all questions rapidly and were easy to speak to when needed. I would recommend this apartment once the building work was complete.
