"We were not aware that you had to pay for parking at this hotel as the last time we stayed there it was free. The room was lacking from previous stay. There were no plastic cups in the bathroom. There was a dirty mark down the bathroom door. We would not stay in this hotel again"

"Staff were excellent and the breakfast provision was also very good. The room was ok and a decent size. The cold tap wouldn’t move atall though when we tried to have a bath. We had to run cold into the bath through the showerhead. Plenty of parking though which was also free which isn’t a given everywhere anymore. "

"Fantastic location and sense of being in a special place. Room was in annexe but that was fine, just a short walk across car park, and was reasonably spacious with efficient lift. Staff could not have been more helpful whether cheerfully bringing more tea at breakfast or dealing helpfully with enquiries at reception. If coming by car, parking seems tricky. We had to go to nearby paid (£5 for 24 hours) car park but we're fortunate to get a hotel space on day 2. Swimming pool is a great extra facility, especially when quiet "
