We were on a mother-daughter trip & this was the perfect home to stay in. This is the type of home Mom grew up in up on the South Hill. Sooo many memories came back to her because the layout was similar. This is the type of home with stained glass that I always dreamed of living in. At first, I was a little leary about the neighborhood when we first pulled up soon learned that it was just my bias coming out. This is in a fantastic neineighborhood with lovely neighbors & would highly recommend anyone stay here.
Pros: Close drive to city center, lovely soaking tub, gorgeous & comfortable beds & furniture (Mom even fell asleep in the lazy boy chair), great shower preasure, well stocked kitchen, large fridge, clean washer/dryer, wood floors smooth- no peices missing or damaged, dinning room table & chairs are comfortable to set at for long periods of time while eating or playing games, fun & interesting games & books available, paper travel guides available, we didn't turn on the TV but I liked how it was wall mounted & had a simple yet elegant stand underneath it - this freed up a ton of walking space in the living room, and (my favorite part) the stained glass lamps & chandeliers are absolutely gorgeous & made the house feel more like home rather than just another flipped rental.
Cons: No driveway- only street parking - a huge work van parked in front making it difficult for my elderly mother, shower curtain sticks to you, metal of small bed hurts legs when getting in/out.
