"Tom was very responsive to the questions we had ahead of time. Great property. Great layout for board games w the family. Kitchen was large and easy to work in. Although many steps to the lake, the steps were well constructed and so it was easy to get to, even w 3 kayaks. No curtains/shades on bedroom windows, which was a little off putting to our adult kids, but they rigged sheets to hang which seemed fine. Melrose was close w a great grocery store and firewood (check w Tom on that, as there wasn’t any at the fire pit.). Great stay! Kids loved the weekend."

"Amazing host, very responsive before reservation, as we prepared for our stay, and while we were there. Every tool needed in the kitchen, great serving pieces for larger groups, perfect sized trash dumpster and quality amenities throughout. We rented this to host family for a wedding weekend and we prepared and served dinner for guests for the rehearsal dinner with ease. Toys were perfect for our toddler and game room was perfect for the adults. So many great memories were made. We are talking about holding a future family event here someday. Highly recommend!"

"Very beautiful home! We liked the open concept of the house. It was big enough to fit all our families needs. The host was very helpful and answered our questions right away. We loved the screen in porch...as the bugs can get bad at night. We did enjoy the new portable firepit also. The kids Ioved the loft room. They felt liked they had their own area."
