"Room was tiny, no coffeemaker, hair dryer, or iron. The staff were out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie. Not unpleasant but unusual. Front desk unable to produce receipt because he doesn’t know how to use the computer. "

"The Serenity guest house was perfect for our family of 5.The hosts were friendly and responsive. The home is as pictured in the listing and is very well maintained with some nice upgrades and the extra amenities were a pleasant surprise (coffee pods, filters etc in the kitchen and soaps and lots of towels in the bathroom and hangers in the closets). The beds were very comfortable with nice quality linens and the rooms each had a good sized closet. We were there for Christmas with family that live in the area. The house was centrally located to all the places we needed to go. The highway is easily accessible and there is lots of shopping near by (grocery, boutiques and big box, outlet mall) We didn’t use the outdoor area but it looked nice. We hope to stay again next year.Thank you A&P"

"The location is very convenient and close to the beach and boardwalk. The home itself is large and each bedroom has a lot of space. Definitely a great house to be enjoyed by a family. The host was very responsive and accommodating to my requests. Highly recommend. "

"Basically clean and comfortable with a great layout, especially for families. Great location near the lake and easy access to Main St. as well as Belmar and Spring Lake boardwalks. We used only 1 of the 3 bedrooms/baths. The kitchen was very well equipped, the king bed was very comfortable and the shower was large. The street is divided and narrow, the driveway will accommodate 2 mid-size vehicles. The cleaning service missed a few spots (ex: bathroom exhaust fans haven't seen a cleaning in a while) but overall we were happy with our stay, especially given the reasonable off-season price."
