"We were greet by a super sweet lady, Sharon who showed us around the property. I would not Consider this property as “having all the amenities of home”’as there is no WiFi, couch or tv” but it’s the perfect place for. “Camping” style trip as the mattresses are very thin. There are No places deliver food to this location so make sure to bring everything you need as the closest store is about 25 minutes away. Also a little further of a drive to PSU as we realized. We will definitely be checking...

"Great property for fishing, whether you fish from the dock or you float down the Juniata river. We happened to do both and the fishing was very good, especially when we canoe floated from the end of the Lewistown Narrows to Mifflintown (approx. 4 miles). "Dawn the host is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! very quick response when i had a question. the only issue i had was the bathroom. it needs some attention. stopper in sink doesn't work. tub and shower need work. handle came off in my hand when turning shower on. there is tape around tub to seal the unit to shower and is coming off. "

"This home is so lovely. The owners truly thought of everything and added such wonderful touches to everything. We had everything we needed. Perfectly stocked kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. We didn’t lack for anything. They also gave us delicious fresh tomatoes from their garden. We really appreciated all the little touches."

"Wonderful setting for our family gathering! Clean & spacious with many options for spreading out. The game barn was a big hit, especially with our teens and younger crew. Lots of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors on the deck and at the fire pit. Also it's conveniently located to a multitude of nearby trail systems for hiking. A great place!"

"Our stay was awesome. It was a little warm upstairs. Luckily we didn't need the bedroom on the 3rd floor as it would have been quite warm. The shower downstairs was quite small. One of our relatives is "football" large and he didn't think he would fit in it. But all in all it was a great stay!!! Thanks. We will keep it in mind to rent again if we have a large group going!!! "We stayed here for the Penn State vs Michigan game. It was 4 of us so sleeping arrangements were perfect. Great communication with the owner as we had a little trouble with figuring out WiFi and the tv. Lower level definitely chilly but my husband loved it. House was clean and in a great location."

"The house is tucked away in an extraordinary setting on Brush Mountain and is an extraordinary space. The exterior features a cascading stream, valley-wide views, and a huge partially covered porch perfect for outdoor remote work or relaxation. The interior has soaring ceilings, wide plank floors, and lovely lighting and other touches throughout. Eric was a great and highly attentive host. "We stayed a night after a show at Bryce Jordan. We were able to check in via phone beforehand since we didn’t have time to stop before the show. So happy firewood was for sale after hours because we had the perfect little campfire at our site before going to bed. AC was running prior to our arrival. Thank you!"
