Awesome room

It was a cozy intimate room that we really enjoyed, we made use of the large tub and the huge bed was super comfy. Over all, a good place to stay in my opinion

This hotel is 60+years old. Bathrooms need to be upgraded. Carpet needs to be upgraded to solid surface flooring. Beds are very hard. Was fairly clean. Manager was helpful and friendly. Full breakfast was average. No yogurt or fresh fruit.

Christmas light parade getaway

My wife and I made a trip to Sprinerville AZ for their Christmas celebration weekend. Our room at Howard Johnson's was awesome. Very spacious suite with whirlpool tub. We frequent the Springerville area often and look forward to our next stay.

What a dump

Simply the biggest dump I have ever stayed in (I'm 66 and have traveled my entire life). Avoid this place. Stay in Greer.

Not a good experience.

The room was not clean at all and there was no hot water. It was very noisy too. I will not stay there again when I return on business.

We were there for the Greer Days Event.The motel is very dated and in need of renovation. The tub/shower had used shampoo & conditioner left behind and faucet was dripping. We were kinda grossed out. We were not at that point planning to use the tub/shower anyways. The staff more than made up for the bathroom condition with friendly professional service. We did end up using the tub/shower the day before we left and we haven't contracted any diseases or died. The provided breakfast items were decent quality and plentiful. The manager informed us that they will be performing a full renovation in the near future. If we come back next year and are not staying in Greer we will definitely give it another look.

You get what you pay for! $100 got us a decent night sleep but no hot shower. 2 day stay and no hot water to shower with. Was told that “Everyone must have been using it at the same time” It provided a roof over our heads while we needed it so the room served it’s purpose

The beds were comfortable. The warm water was ample. The bathroom was a bit worn out. The laundry facilities were poor. One machine was out of order, another was unhooked from water and the third kept beeping at every attempt to pay. At least a half empty beer bottle was provided.

The Rode Inn & Suites, now a Howard Johnson's was comfortable, but the rooms are very old (not updated). There was a patch of loose carpet at the bathroom entrance that was a potential tripping hazard. When I arrived at breakfast at 7:30 a.m., there were only scraps of the hot breakfast left, and I was told that they would not make any more food, even though breakfast ends at 9 a.m. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was clean.
