When we arrived- after a very long day- we were told that our reservations had been cancelled. And guess what, no vacancies. Yep so here I shout to everyone Please pick your accommodations and providers better. Candlewood and Expedia both failed me!! Terrible

Clean!!

Very clean place. Accommodations were very impressive. The only thing I would suggest is having USB/charging stations. Clock/phone in the room isn’t necessary. Close to everything! We will definitely stay again!

A day or a week, Candlewood has never failed to please. Near, clean, and well appointed rooms. Convenient kitchenette. Even brand name amenities in the shower. (Sorry, ladies, no Bath and Bodyworks!)

This hotel was in an area that did not appear as nice as I expected it to be. This might be true for the Springfield area in general though. The room was decent though there was something on the counter in the bathroom that looked and felt like dried soap but it was a larger area and in a location that didn’t make sense to have been caused by a bar of soap. My mom suspected it could have had something to do with people smoking in there though nothing smelled like smoke. The rack above the toilet where the towels were was tilted because it was coming off the wall. It was chrome and where it was chipped it was rusted. So just in general not an experience I’d expect from a hotel with a “fabulous” review but still a decent stay.

We got to our room and the bathroom light above the sink flickered and went out. The wall mounted blow dryer didn’t work. There was another in a bag that at first didn’t work, but we reset the outlet in the bathroom, and it worked after that. The TV had no signal. We tried to call these items in but the phone in the room was dead. The front desk clerk solved out TV problem, the other stuff, she said she would “make a note of it.” Not much help.
