"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Robert. We arrived for our 3 night break to coffee and cake with a quick introduction to the lovely house.
Our large spacious bedroom was first class with excellent en-suite facilities and a lovely hospitality tray. It was was spotlessly clean with some wonderful antiquities on show.
Breakfast was very good with a multitude of options from a full English to scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, concluding with Robert's homemade scones, jam and cream. Yummy!!
Robert does everything himself and he's clearly very proud of the service he provides and quite rightly so.
Because he does it all himself this is maybe the reason he asks for guests breakfast selection the evening before, which might not suit everyone, but we were happy with that arrangement.
Robert is a very gregarious character and a wonderful host with a sharp personality to match. Nothing is too much trouble for him, which is every visitor's claim. He certainly has plenty of the Irish charm!
There is a very generous car park with attractive gardens surrounding the house. There is a guests lounge with some amazing cakes on display, which is one of Robert's additional skills.
Overall, our stay at Longridge Manor added to the enjoyment of our weekend visit to the Scottish Borders. Thank you Robert."
"What a lovely stay at Bayview chalet, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and didn't want to leave, the location was amazing and we were lucky enough to have nice weather. The communication from our host beforehand was excellent too. No issues at all. Thank you."
"Very cute and quaint hotel in a gorgeous location. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to say goodbye to Scotland for now! Restaurant was delicious as well."
"My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Marshall Meadows Manor House. We stayed one night, but ate dinner and the included breakfast at the hotel. The room was clean, the food excellent, and the staff genuinely helpful. The manager assisted with luggage, provided us with helpful advice for our destination the following day, and was very attentive while also serving at the restaurant. We walked the cliff top trail from the property and enjoyed the amazing views of the Berwickshire coastline, as well as the farm animals at Marshall Meadows Farm. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to or through the area."
