"This a wonderful gem, tucked away in the mountains with wonderful views down to the ocean. The infinity pools have been thoughtfully located to take advantage of the scenery of the valley flowing to the sea. The location is wonderfully quiet and tranquil. There are some nice trails connected to the hotel as well. But the best part is the staff, who really welcome you and take care of you. I can't say enough about that, which includes the excellent food. Highly recommended."

"We had a very pleasant stay at Almost paradise, starting with a wonderful meal cooked with love by Lucinda, our host. We were 3 and the sofa bed was made for the 3rd person and it was very comfortable. There was Mosquito nets but we didn’t felt it was needed. "There was absolutely nothing I liked about this resort. Food was terrible. Staff not very helpful. Cleaning staff don’t trust. The rooms are beyond out dated. No change of bedding in my 5 day stay. Lack of cleanliness, asked for wash cloths, those were not available. Good luck with making reservations to any restaurant and actually having anything available on the menu which is already limited. Absolute bad experience would NOT recommend."

"On arrival to the guest house there was a nice 'welcome' laid out on the bed with flowers and decorative towels. On arrival the shower was dirty with hairs from the previous guest left on the tiles, floor tiles stained as the shower has a drainage issue, and the shower pressure is extremely low when set to warm, I would describe it as a drizzle of water. The toilet was also poorly cleaned on arrival, and stained. The two decorative bath towels on display for arrival were unfortunately the only bath towels provided for the first 3 nights of the stay, with the exception of a single hand towel in the bathroom. Nobody attended to clean the room, change the bath towels or bedding for the first 3 nights and when they did, it was only after us raising this as unsatisfactory. This was also the case with the bath mat as no spares were provided in the room. When staff did arrive to clean the room they did not empty the kitchen bin or bathroom bin, we did this ourselves when we realised after they left. Staff were reluctant to provide extra towels or to change the room towels daily. Amenities provided were minimal - x2 small bars of soap for the bathroom, x2 toothbrushes but no toothpaste / miniature shower gel etc. Tea bags were provided but no sugar or milk etc. The pool was uncleaned with debris floating in it on several days of the stay. This included fallen leaves as well as deflated pool inflatables which appeared to have been there for some time. AC was the best thing"

"The owner and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The place is extremely clean and the ground swell maintained. It is the best beach in Grenada and it was a bonus having a large built-in swimming pool with a deep end of 7 feet. The pool was also well maintained and enjoyable. Groceries are just across the street at the IGA and there are plenty places within walking distance for meals."

"Great location with lots of amenities. Had some issues with internet connectivity and some items in the villa not working (plunge pool, lights, fans). Didn't have much for international outlets, so make sure to pack converters as the site is not as "international electric friendly" as other places on the island. Overall, it was a very nice resort and they took care of their visitors pretty well. Would go back again."
