Renovation work is sloppy. The shower was shooting water into the ceiling cause ceiling paint to hang from the ceiling. The beds and pillows were not comfortable. Our room had a connecting room door with no sound dampening at all. Whoever, next door came in at 1 AM talking and laughing but not overly loud conversation However, after being startled awake because it sounded like the people were in our bathroom in the room. I could hear the entire conversation, then could not sleep. It was really so bad. Our reservation said holiday inn express but after driving around we went in to find out it was now a Hampton Inn but we're never told. They are renovating. It will be nicer but it is lacking in the areas mentioned. Sloppy Reno work, noisy rooms. Uncomfortable bedding and pillows.

The only good at this hotel was our room. Though, the safe was on the floor and not accessible to use, no luggage racks nor enough room for our clothes and other belongings. Paid $18/day and hotel was under renovations, Noisy with construction employees having to share same elevator. The amenities that were to be included (dining, breakfast, bar, fitness Ctr) were not available. No accommodations or at least be compensated for the inconveniences. Bldg not in a safe area nor close enough to walk to nicer dining or attractions. The staff are rarely seen at the front desk and our door key cards didn’t work properly and had ti exchange them. Very inconvenient for patrons and especially for those coming from out of town.
