The room was immaculate, comfortable, and very well presented. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. A great small hotel with a personal touch, and I would happily stay here again.
An absolutely beautiful couple of nights stay at The Kingswood. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean with all the amenities that you would need.
Really beautiful hotel. Great decor and you can tell a lot of thought and effort went into creating it. Food was outstanding and the staff were lovely. Didn’t get her name, but the female staff member who served us dinner Friday and breakfast was lovely. The team also helped us order a taxi to a wedding and asked us about our day. Really impressed.
We found this hotel excellent. It’s recently been completely refurbished to a very high standard. The staff were very friendly and approachable. Wr had a deluxe room which was clean and the bed very comfortable, unlike every other hotel bed I’ve slept in. I slept soundly from the every first night. The hotel is well situated for daily excursions in the local area and further afield and the hotel staff were always on hand with useful suggestions of where to go and what to see, if needed. I would certainly recommend staying at Kingswood. We will book to stay there the next time we are in Cornwall.
Absolutely fantastic stay from start to finish. The service was outstanding throughout, with every member of the staff going above and beyond to make the experience feel welcoming and relaxed. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and finished to a really high standard, making it easy to switch off and enjoy the break.
The food in the restaurant was another highlight — beautifully cooked, full of flavour, and presented with real care. You can tell the team take pride in what they do.
Overall, a brilliant stay and one I’d happily recommend to anyone looking for quality, comfort, and genuinely excellent hospitality.
I stayed 1 night at Kingshead. The hotel is relatively new built and does not as such have historical charm. It was decorated and equipped very well and in a nice way. Thew room was spacious , tasteful and well equipped. The bed was a large and the duvet large enough for 2 people which isn't always the case. What stood out for me was the kindness of staff, warm, friendly, personable and helpful at any point of contact. Breakfast was delicious with additions that made it different from ' just a full English'. A very enjoyable stay, for a very reasonable price ,thank you very much !
This hotel is perfect, it's small with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are stunning and clean with lots of little things that make your stay just that little bit better. The food is next level and although a little expensive the quality and cooking is truly fabulous. I can't recommend this hotel enough.
Another great stay at this lovely hotel.
Fantastic service from all of the team evening and mornings.
Excellent food - every dish I opted for was delicious - the steak kebab is fantastic and highly recommended.
super clean, spacious room and very friendly staff. Hotel looks newly refurnished and we have a pleasant stay in this hotel and very comfortable. Breakfast are also v delicious. Will definitely stay again.
The only area for improvement is the toilet floor which required better cleaning as there are some stains on the floor.
What an amazing two night stay we've just had! Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, everyone so friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Amanda, Laura, Jacob and Millie, you're all a credit to the team, you've made our anniversary stay one to remember. Everywhere so very clean and tidy. Rooms spacious and so quiet. Will recommend to everyone and hopefully be back ourselves at some point! Thank you
