"We had another fantastic stay at the Somerville Hotel to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We were met at the door by a very friendly gentleman who welcomed us to the Hotel and showed us to reception. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived giving us information on all surrounding areas and interesting places to visit and taking our cases to our room. Once in our room, we found a welcome gift and card congratulating us on our anniversary which was nice. Our room was lovely and spacious with a large bathroom and stunning views of the bay. If I had to be picky the only negative about our whole experience was that at breakfast, on the second morning, our order was mislaid or forgotten and we were left waiting with an empty table for around an hour before I enquired about where our breakfast was. It was then another 15 minutes until the food appeared with lots of apologies. This blip didn’t spoil our stay as we were looked after very well each morning after and nothing was too much trouble. 😊 "

"The Panorama is an experience in superb hospitality. The breakfast is amazing with so much choice with tasty options, a daily special on offer alongside the normal menu. The staff can’t do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are so lovely, especially the beds with the crisp Egyptian cotton bedding and selection of pillows to suit everyone’s preferences. The sea view rooms have a stunning view of St Aubin and the bay beyond which is so lovely to wake up to. There is a steep climb from the road up to the property via steps and a door at the back of the property onto a cobbled road which is very narrow and on a hill but quite manageable. Can’t recommend this hotel enough and I’ve stayed twice now, good value for money. "

"Unplanned stay starting on Christmas Day late morning with such a warm welcome. Had to extend the booking by two nights because storms prevented Condor from running the ferry back to France so a bonus for us! Lovely room overlooking the sea. Big free car park. Lavish breakfast. Huge TV in the spacious bedroom. Lots of thoughtful details."
