"The room we had was at very top floor, but well worth the climb. The pub itself was friendly, food excellent and staff very efficient. One of the best breakfasts we have had - all included in the price. Port Gaverne was very picture perfect and we will without hesitation recommend to friends and visit again. "

"We got engaged in Boscastle at the start of July and so this hotel will always be special, but it’s special regardless. Beautiful building, exceptional food, lovely pub atmosphere, helpful staff. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade and the room was beautiful - huge bed, lovely en suite and high-beamed ceilings. The breakfast is included and it’s exceptional - best scrambled eggs I’ve had in years. Couldn’t rate more highly!"

"Very nice location, beautiful grounds. Lot of parking space. Nice size rooms. Bath tub was not very practical, in fact dangerous to stand in when having a shower. No air conditioning in rooms but this was not critical."

"Didn’t think that a hotel in a service area would be as good as it was. Hotel exceptionality clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nicely laid out and we had more than enough to eat. Unfortunately we booked for two nights but had to leave after one but will definitely be back."
