Allamanda Beach Hotel

"They had a very bad mosquito problem. Loud noise from nearby areas over the weekend had the walls vibrating till 5am in the morning. Only one very low-wattage 110 Volt power outlet. ( stated only for laptop and phone chargers). The only amenities are a mini fridge and a coffee maker OR water kettle. There is a built-in hair dryer operating on the 220-volt system. Clean room and helpful cleaning check-in and staff. Rollaway beds were available on request. Access to the beach was the highlight of the trip. The restaurant on the property looked permanently closed. There is a little microwave in a public area. Air conditioning and Parking as good."

"Excellent and varied included breakfast. Rooms are a little dated but staff is awesome. Food is good. Restaurant over he water. Hotel located close to airport and city. You can book rental cars and have them delivered to the property and you can go on a scuba diving trip that is reasonably priced. Overall good option for visit to Grenada."

"This property is amazing. The whole house is beautiful and well appointed with wood accents throughout. We loved the pool. Ursel, the house manager, was only a WhatsApp message away for questions or help. The kitchen was full of pots, pans, utensils, etc, but did not have any spices aside from salt and pepper, which is not a complaint but would want others to know about. We had access to the master bedroom and exterior balconies for elevated seating above the gardens. And while we were only two people, we found it strange the other bedrooms were locked. To those renting this outstanding Villa, be aware it is a3 km drive down a small, tight road through a depressed residential area with the locals watching you as you pass. This didn't bother us, but you should be aware prior to your first drive in order to adapt to the tight road, as well as the pedestrians, animals and parked vehicle traffic. Overall, a great rental."
