Mount Cinnamon Beach & Wellness Resort

10/10 Excellent

"I just recently returned from my stay at Mount Cinnamon. What a beautiful hotel! Check in was easy and I appreciated the welcome drink. My room was beautiful and clean with a nice view off of the balcony. Also, comfortable bedding, and the hotel was very quiet. I loved coming to my room the first day and seeing fresh baked banana bread, and everyday, the staff personally delivered cookies to the room. Such a nice treat. The location is on Grande Anse beach, a beautiful white sand beach with turquoise water. I loved relaxing there. It was never really crowded(not sure if that is due to it being shoulder season or if it's always like that). I felt like I almost had the beach to myself. I took several walks along the shore. The staff at Mount Cinnamon are wonderful, from the front desk/concierge, restaurant staff, and the shuttle drivers. The shuttle is available if needed for transport from your room to the common areas, including the beach. I personally found that it came in handy as the hotel sits up on a hill, although I did do some walking up and down the hill and I didn't really mind. Breakfast was included, which was great and the food at the restaurants(The main restaurant and the one at the beach served delicious food). Seriously, everything I ate was tasty. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to vacation in Grenada. I'll be back one day. Shoutout to Lutisha(concierge), Peterson(shuttle driver) and Janelle(Spa)."

"Our recent stay at Silversands Beach House to celebrate my partner’s birthday exceeded all expectations. We upgraded our stay which we are so happy we did ! The ocean-view was amazing and provided an extra touch to our stay! The staff consistently went above and beyond, and the property manager's recommendations were spot on, which we greatly appreciated. The taxi service arranged by the property was seamless and efficiently run, and every driver we met was courteous and friendly. We visited in October, and the weather was ideal throughout our stay, without a drop of rain."

"Hannah and her staff handle everything with care, compassion, and a first class approach. If you are thinking of booking Villa Solitaire.. STOP THINKING AND BOOK!Hannah will set you up with potential chefs, masseuse, drivers, excursions, etc.. You name it and she will help. Speaking of which we booked 2 private chefs that Hannah suggested...Chef Carla is amazing!! She serves everything family style with love. Her food is incredible and she is very detail oriented.. She's also very nice to chat with and will willingly give you some secrets to her recipes!Chef X is THE MAN! We hired Chef X and his staff to cater an entire day for us.. Lunch, bartender service, passed app's, and a 6 course dinner that was otherworldly. His Lobster Medallions dish is one of the best Lobster dishes I've ever had! They are so nice and personable, Chef X is onsite and makes sure everything is handled with the care it deserves.The villa itself is stunning! Beautiful rooms, an incredible private pool and a manicured property with an incredible view of the sunset.So, if you are reading this, you may be wondering why I only gave 4 stars out of 5? Just one issue, there needs to be screens added to the windows/doors of the main areas. As is typical throughout the Caribbean, the main areas are very open and use the natural breeze to keep things cool. The issue, at night, the mosquitos join the party. Without screens, we had to close everything which lead to heat.We look forward to returning!"

La Sagesse Hotel

"Staying at La Sagesse for 4 days was a perfect experience for my family! If you’re looking for a quiet, affordable, not commercialized or built up spot to stay, with delicious fresh food every day, with a beautiful beach just about to yourself, then this is your place. The beach is so nice, and when we were here in July we had the beach almost entirely to ourselves. The water was calm, and the scenery was amazing. The creek flowing in to the ocean on the side of the property is cool. There are a lot of trees at the back of the beach, so you can relax in a chair in the shade (or move it in to the sun). The IHG was still under construction, but I think even when that opens it'll still be quiet on the beach here. The staff here is so helpful. They booked our airport transfers, and an all day island tour through the manager, and they were great experiences. Especially the tour with Mr. Boney! The restaurant is awesome - great food, fresh fish every day. You can just roll on in whenever you want for a meal or drink, and they had a table set aside for us every evening. Our Ocean View Family loft was a queen bed on the upper level with a view of the beach, and 2 twin beds on the main level. Beds were very comfy, the AC worked great, shower was good. The cleaning every day was good and thorough. The tub of water outside of the rooms to clean the sand off of your feet is a nice touch. I can't say enough good things about the room. I can't say enough great things about La Sagesse!"

"A Hidden Gem in the Countryside I planned to spend three weeks in Grenada, so finding the right place was important to me. I called several properties because I wanted to get a sense of the staff and the environment before booking. Mrs. Drake was the only person who answered my call. After our brief conversation, I had a feeling I had found somewhere safe, welcoming, and peaceful. When I arrived, the two-bedroom villa exceeded my expectations. It was tastefully decorated, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I sent pictures to my friends and family back home, and they were impressed and asked how I had found such a beautiful place. What made Clarenceville Villa truly special, however, was the property itself. The spacious grounds are surrounded by nature and filled with an incredible variety of exotic flowers. I enjoyed wandering through the property and walking down to the river. When I did venture out to explore Grenada, I discovered that the villa was only a few miles away from the beach, restaurants, marina, and other hotels. Clarenceville Villa was also the only budget-friendly options in the area. Judy was wonderful. Having lived in the States for much of her life, she could relate to me in a way that made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Thanks\ you to everyone for this amazing experience and I hope to return soon."
