Great house, easy beach access, extremely comfortable beds and sheets. Very responsive owner. Helped with any concerns we had. The community is absolutely beautiful and would be fun to visit during the warmer months! Lots of walking trails, pickleball, community pools and fishing at the jetties!
The property was beautiful inside with gorgeous decor, comfortable bedding, and a wonderful screened in porch. The pool was warm and a great option if not wanting to be on the beach. Many walking trails and beautiful scenery throughout the Plantation property.

The location is fantastic, with plenty of nearby activities and dining options, but we also appreciated how peaceful and secluded the area felt.

Exceeded our expectations and the host was great to work with. We came for a post college graduation trip. There were 8 adults and the house was the perfect fit for all of us. Extremely close to the beach and a stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need and very clean. We VRBO a lot and this is one of my favorites.
We loved everything about this home. The renovations are beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the location is fantastic. Even small details that are sometimes less than stellar in other vacation rentals were great here. For example all the kitchen supplies were in great shape and plentiful. There were lots of towels, the pool was spotless, and it’s very close to the beach. Communication with the hosts was quick and clear. I would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I rented this property for my daughter’s Senior Spring break trip. We were a group of two adults and seven teenage girls. The house was a great fit for us! The oldest girls slept upstairs in the king bedroom and bunk room. The two youngest took the downstairs bedroom. The house is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The open floor plan was spacious enough for the nine of us and we were all able to eat dinners together at the same table inside or out.The house is an easy walk to the beach. The beach is a little narrow at high tide but wider as you go SW down the island. We enjoyed lots of dolphin sightings and bird watching. The house pool is private but small. The teens used it a few times. The Plantation neighborhood was great. There are great walking/biking paths and a couple community pools that are easy to get to. We rented bikes. Golf cart rentals aren’t allowed.This was one of our favorite vacation rentals and we’d rent it again if we come back to SGI!
The property has received a complete remodel on the inside and looks fantastic! The location is also amazing! Very close walk to the clubhouse, gym and pool (though we just used the pool at the house)… also a very short walk to the beach access. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home “Seaside Cottage” near the beach on the Plantation. The décor is charming and welcoming, and the layout is perfect for gathering as a group while also offering plenty of cozy porches and quiet spots to escape with a book. There was great space to play games and spend time together, which made it ideal for our stay.The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house—ample laundry supplies, trash bags, and other essentials that made everything easy and comfortable. The bedding was comfortable and high quality, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home.Communication with the owner was excellent—friendly, responsive, and seamless from start to finish. This is a beautifully cared-for home, and we would absolutely stay here again.
We loved this house! We have been going to St George/Plantation for years and this was our favorite house yet. It was decorated beautifully and was just perfect for our group. The hosts were so helpful and available. The bunkroom was great for kids and all of the bedrooms were perfect! It was such a close walk to the beach too- just across street! The kitchen was very well stocked and everything was super clean. We will be returning next year for sure and could not recommend this more!

Sea Coast Cottage was the perfect choice for our family beach trip to beautiful Saint George Island! The 3 regular bedrooms were generously sized for the six adults, and our 3 grandchildren loved the bunk room. Having 3 full bathrooms meant one bath per family, another plus. The home’s decor is very well done, a subtle nautical theme with a modern and well-appointed kitchen and generous banquette for dining. Its proximity to the beach access boardwalk is ideal. You are literally two minutes “door to shore”. Dan was a responsive host. Highly recommend this quaint cottage for your beach stay.
The host was the best I have ever dealt with on a vacation rental. He was quick to respond to any questions and gave us some tips on dining in the area. The location is very private and peaceful. The walk to the beach was very easy and access was good. There is also a community pool and workout center about a 1/4 mile from the house. The house was very nice with lots of space for everyone. The kitchen had top level appliances and utensils. We were able to prepare several meals easily and the dining spaces allowed 8 of us to sit together. All overall a very good property and highly recommended for families who want a quiet space to spend time together. St George Island is not Panama City or Gulf Shores, and that is a good thing. I appreciated the laid back mood and really enjoyed driving over to Apalachicola for the shops and restaurants. Take the time to go down to the cut and the State Park.
We had a great time in sgi! This home was in a great location. Short walk to beach and short walk to community pool. The house was plenty big enough for the 11 of us. 6 kids and 5 adults. Home was very clean. I would recommend this to a family needing to rent in SGI. Loved the quietness of the plantation! We basically had the beach to ourselves and we are used to pcb crowds so this was fantastic!

This house was a perfect beach getaway for our two family’s to enjoy. We felt very comfortable with four adults and 6 kids. It’s very close to beach and clubhouse pool. The house looks very recently updated and great spaces to enjoy time together. Beds were very comfortable and we hope to return in the future.
