Welcome to Island Vibe!

This 2BR/2BA BEACHFRONT condo (Villa H-5) is ideally located within walking distance to shops, restaurants and Lighthouse Park!

The living area is bright and beachy with comfortable furnishings, flat screen TV, VCR/DVD player and CD stereo, and opens onto a furnished beachfront deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Just past the living room is a large dining table for up to 6 with additional seating at the breakfast bar. The well-equipped kitchen with Gulf views has all standard appliances and a balcony overlooking the parking area.

Upstairs is a beachfront master bedroom with King bed, beachfront balcony, TV, DVD/VCR and private bathroom with combination tub/shower. Across the hall, a second bedroom offers 2 double beds and a TV. A bathroom with combination tub/shower and laundry center is located just outside of this bedroom.

Tile floors throughout the main living space with carpeted bedrooms, there are 12 stairs to reach the main living area and another 12 stairs to reach the bedroom/bathroom level.

The Villas of St. George complex has 42 units. The community offers use of a large community swimming pool with outdoor shower, park-style charcoal grilling area, fish cleaning station and beach boardwalk. Centrally located, you will have easy access to the center of St. George Island where area businesses and restaurants are located! The Villas of St. George Island was constructed in the 1980's, and while it is a treasured piece of St. George Island history, the older architecture results in more narrow stairwells than modern day condominiums, so please plan accordingly. Island Vibe
We were delighted with our stay at Island Vibe on SGI. The location is perfect, everything you need is walkable or bike-able, the condo is steps away from the ocean. The master suite faces the ocean with a private balcony, we slept with the sounds of the waves every night. The main floor also has a balcony. The condo was clean and had all the basic amenities, we were even able to check-in early! The area was quite and perfect for family or a private get-away, we would definitely return!

This is an older condo unit, but it had been updated nicely. Well stocked with kitchen accessories etc. appliances seemed new. Beware of the stairs though there are two sets and they are steep. I’m sure the description mentioned them, I just missed it The view is amazing and great proximity to grocery store, cafes etc

Wonderful Beach Front Villas
We actually stayed in A-3 because H-5 was being remodeled. The communication was wonderful with Forgotten Shores and the owner of A-3 was helpful and welcoming. Great communication all around. The Villas have been newly painted with new spacious balconies. Close to the ocean and very relaxing. Our unit was very clean and comfortable. Close walk to restaurants. As a perk, we got free bike rentals through VaKay.

Great location. Steps were horrible. Very dated. Tubs need replaced due to peeling and makes it look and feel dirty. No lock on kitchen balcony door. Overall loved location but could have been more updated and locks fixed for price point.

Very nice place. The tile floors and baseboards need a deep cleaning as does the top of the refrigerator. All in all though, we had a great time and the beach was fantastic. This county does need to start recycling. We were amazed that they aren’t doing so!!

Girls Beach Trip!
We enjoyed our visit to SGI! I've not been in a few years! The condo location is very convenient and beach front is always wonderful! The condo is within walking distance or a quick bike ride of several places. The beach is steps away. Sunrise and sunset can be enjoyed from the balcony! We are older and the stairs to access this condo were a challenge plus all of the bedrooms and baths are upstairs. The beds are comfortable, but the main room furniture not so much. All in all, everything is better at the beach!
