Come escape and relax in this completely renovated 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom beach front cottage. “Pura Vida” will be sure to ease your mind with expansive views of the gulf and white sand beaches right outside your door.

Open concept dining and living area overlook panoramic gulf views. Ocean front deck with built in bar, and comfortable seating provide the perfect place to enjoy a beachside meal, cold drink, and relaxation. New boardwalk with foot washing station leads to a gate that will allow for safety for small children. Hot/cold outdoor shower located at the top of the boardwalk.

The hallway leads to 3 well appointed bedrooms. The double bunk room can sleep 4 and is the perfect place for kids or teens. This room opens to the hallway with a shared bathroom with the 2nd queen bedroom. The master bedroom features a king size bed and private bathroom.

Newly renovated kitchen will provide ample cooking space and utensils for your needs. Cordless Roman shades throughout the home allow for privacy and room darkening.

Other amenities to include wireless internet service, multiple flat panel smart tv/ROKU that guests may utilize with their own log in.

For allergy and furniture maintenance reasons, Pura Vida is dog friendly ONLY! Thank you for your understanding.

Booster seat/chair attachment for children 9+ months old is available for use.

Beautiful Beach Cottage

We had a wonderful vacation at this lovely little beach cottage. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. The beach is beautiful and the location is perfect. We hope to be able to visit again soon.

Perfect beach cottage

Really sweet cottage directly on the beach. Very clean and convenient. Master bath and closet and very small but second bathroom is much larger. We loved the direct access to the beach and the outdoor water and shower. Very quiet and relaxing.

Incredible and great communication

Fantastic! The home had everything we needed and was perfect for our family of 5. Right on the beach with the perfect porch for watching sunrises on a quiet stretch of beach. Craig was awesome - very quick to respond if we had questions and incredibly helpful! Already looking at dates to book again!

We had an amazing vacation

Craig was always quick to respond. The house was beautiful and you cant beat the location. When we come back to St George we will definetly stay here. The king mattress needs be replaced. It has large impressions where guests lay the most and it made it difficult to sleep. That is my only complaint. Everything else was amazing. Like I said this will be our go too for St George island.

Pura Vida

We had a wonderful time at Pura Vida! The house had the most beautiful view of the Gulf and the most incredible waterfront, expansive porch. I always like to cook for my family on vacation, and the kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen with all the necessary kitchen tools for cooking. Also, the house was clean and in tip top shape! I would definitely rent this property again. It was like a dream spending a week at Pura Vida!

The BEST view!

We absolutely loved our stay at Pura Vida! The deck with all of the extras made our stay so perfect. We have an 8 month old baby and the set up made it so easy and enjoyable. The huge windows that surround the back of the house made you feel like you were right on the beach when you were eating breakfast! Nothing like a cup of coffee while watching the dolphins swim by! We will definitely be back!

Pura Vida: A great way to start summer!

Enjoyed our stay here last year, so we invited friends to join us this time. We saw big waves & enjoyed calm waters, too. Renting chairs & umbrellas was so easy, and added to the fun. The house is a perfect layout in a perfect location. The kitchen is well appointed, and offered us dinner with the best view ever! The guys provided fresh-caught tripletail & we picked up steamed shrimp from Piggly Wiggly on SGI. Can’t wait to return !!!

Perfect!

Pura Vida really was perfect. The house was recently renovated and we were lucky enough to be one of the first vacationers there. The deck was spectacular. Large, spacious with many seating options. The deck even had a foot spray hose and an outdoor shower with hot water! The living area was well decorated, spacious and comfy. The bedrooms were a little small but who cares... we didn't come to hang out in the bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the ice maker was quick! Never ran out!!! We used the firepit a couple times. It was perfect as well. Location wise it was ideal. 1 mile exactly to city center. Walk the beach or the road. The park was a good 3+ miles away. Perfect for a bike ride! Thanks so much for an awesome time and for sharing your beautiful house.

Great location and house, meh management

TL;DR - Beautiful house and perfect location, may not be clean when you get there and the property manager may not respond to you. Also, VRBO will not help you. The good: This house is beautifully renovated with lots of great features, the best of which is its location directly on the beach. I loved waking up with that super gorgeous view of the ocean every day of our vacation. There are a lot of nice touches and the rental is well-equipped. The bad: We arrived after a 9-hour day on the road to a dirty rental. The place had obviously not been cleaned since the last renters and we arrived two hours after check-in time. I called the management company and the person who answered the phone forgot that we were checking in that day. He said he would come right away to clean, which he did (and he did a great job), but it took almost three hours to clean the rental and we had small children we really wanted to get to bed. We didn't really get to get unpacked and settled until well after 9:00pm. The lights in the living room and dining room were not working and the person cleaning could not figure out how to fix them and said someone would be by the next day to fix them. We called the next day to ask about someone coming to fix the lights and we were told someone would come out. No one ever came out to fix the lights. We tried to call again and our call was never returned. We tried to call to ask about a partial or full refund of the cleaning fee for the inconvenience of not having the rental clean when we arrived and have not received a call back. VRBO says there is nothing they can do. So, if you do not have a problem on your trip, you will probably have a great time at this rental. But if you do have a problem that needs to be addressed, do not count on it being addressed by the management or VRBO.

Wonderful small retreat

Wonderful location right on the beach. Easy drive to get to. Beach was only yards away and there was very few people on the beach near us. House was clean and stocked well. Property lived up to its description . We enjoyed our 6 days very much and would use this property again. Many positive attributes. The only negatives I can think of are that it is a smaller 3 bedroom house so if we had filled the bedrooms it might have felt cramped. The bathrooms are small and the furniture is not comfortable. But we spent very little time sitting in the den. We tried to stay outside as much as possible.

Property couldn’t be better located! Cute, clean house - love, love the boardwalk to the beach and the fire pit area. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the bed in the primary room and the sofa need to be replaced as they are so uncomfortable they were unable unusable.

Pura Vida

From the location, parking, extras like labeling everything , charging ports, to the whole front house view and provided firewood, we could not have asked for more. The small bathroom showered would not stay in position so we could use it, but there were only two of us so we didn't really need it.The house is fully upgraded to have all the things you could want. Purely enjoyed our week!

Much needed getaway

Relaxing and wonderful. Owners are great to work with - good communication as we were dodging hurricanes leading up to and throughout our stay :). I especially like the boardwalk onto the beach because you avoid the prickly things that grow on the beachgrass. Also the foot wash and outdoor shower were so convenient to quickly wash our furry friend of the salt and sand. We were fortunate to watch as Milton blew by south of us and got some great sunset pictures afterwards. Also loved the view and cushioned benches along the large windows facing the beach. Good food at local restaurants and such a charming community. Can’t wait to come back.
