Just a short walk to the beach, Studio Sea is a renovated, four-bedroom Florida beach cottage. A king bedroom and a twin bedroom are on the upper level. A large king bedroom and XL-twin over queen bunk bedroom, and bath are on the lower level with a separate entrance, making it perfect for two families or couples. These two floors are connected via an exterior staircase.

Cool off in the pool, worship the sun from the third floor deck, or sit on the porch with family and friends. Let the morning greet you in the sunny living area, which includes an open concept kitchen, dining and living space.

Recently a dining space was added on the third floor deck. Dine under the stars and by fairy light.

Like much of St. George Island, Studio Sea is pet friendly.

During the day take advantage of all available activities on St. George Island or shop in Apalachicola. "Dr. Beach" rates the beaches of St. George Island as one of the top five beaches in the United States. In the evening, have dinner at one of the many restaurants on the island and in Apalachicola, where you will find some of the best seafood in the United States.

Bring your bike or rent one on the island. Studio Sea is right across the street from the island bike path. The cottage is just a short bike ride to shops, markets, restaurants and fresh seafood.

Great fishing is available from the beach, the pier, or at the beautiful state park on the east end of the Island. A number of fishing charters are available in the area; ask about our favorite charter captain.

Studio by the Sea was the perfect place for our family. This was our first time visiting St. George’s Island and we are now looking forward to many more trips in the future. Easy to rent, exactly as advertised! Location is perfect - we had easy walks to the beach, easy drive into the middle of the island for groceries and dining out. Glad to find this place, we'll try to book it again when we return :-)

This house was terrific one block across from public beach access with a boardwalk. Beds were comfy every thing was super clean. Enjoyed the pool and sundeck. Best of all got to bring my dog! Will be back

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at Studio Sea. We love it so much, we’ve already booked again for next year. The property is well kept, nicely furnished and clean. It’s a very short walk to the beach. The host, David Mann, is just a moments call away and is super responsive and goes out of his way to make us feel welcome.

Loved the cottage, pool, location and amenities of this home away from home. From the time we arrived the peaceful feel was amazing. Across the street one block is a boardwalk that is direct beach access. Great food and live music witnin a mile or so and the Island has so much to offer! Historical Apalachicola is 10 minutes away. Perfect! Thank you for sharing your beach home.

Short (1) block walk to the beach! Was nice to have plenty of room on the beach without the crowds. Good local donuts & pizza. We typically go to Destin or Gulf Shores so it was nice to have a vacation without the traffic & crowds! Grandkids enjoyed the pool as well.

We take an annual girls trip to a new beach town each year and this year was no exception. This is a nice cottage type feel with a pool that were enjoyed all weekend as there was red tide.

Amazing host! Easy to communicate with and answers questions quickly. Was out of town and still had his family check in with us to make sure it was all ok! Super clean, lots of room and there were 10 of us! 5 min walk to the beach so very easy to get back and forth. Perfect week! Thank you!

Everything was as expected. The recent storm did leave the pool and pool area in need of cleaning which was taken cleaned up. Loved the open floor plan. Most important was the closeness to the beach. That was all that matter to the kids.

This is my 3 time renting this house. My family of 5 adults and 2 dogs enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room without feeling crowded and very CLEAN. It's a perfect spot ONLY 1 BLOCK FROM THE BEACH!!! I will forever rent this house as long as I come to St. George Island. Thank you again. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!

This has been my family's 4th year coming to Saint George Island and to this house. It is absolutely perfect for a family of 5 and 2 dogs. The house is clean David is very responsive. Are Ac went out when we got there (one of the hottest days saint george has seen in a while) and David was right on it and got it fixed very quickly. One thing i love is that the house is 1 block from the beach. We will definitely be back again next year. Thank you again David for letting us rent your beach house for the week!!

This was our first time on St. George Island and this house was in a perfect spot. A 5-minute walk to the beach or you can park your car at the beach. It is right at the beach access. My wife and I came down with our 3 teenagers, 2 dogs, and 2 of their friends and had plenty of room. Our two girls and their friends enjoyed staying in the downstairs area, staying up late, and watching movies. We enjoyed the porch in the mornings and sitting by the private pool. David is great to work with and if I had questions he was quick with a response. We will definitely be back.

The property was great, located about a block from the beach. It had everything we needed to get through the week. Sadly, it was very rainy all week with red and double red flag warnings so swimming in the gulf was limited. We were at the house often and throughly enjoyed the pool, puzzles and games. David is an exceptional host and responded quickly to any questions we had. It was also so convenient to be able to park our family member’s boat there on the property with plenty of hose to rinse it off after a day out. Thank you, David, for use of your home for a fantastic week (despite the weather working against us)!!

Our first trip to the island & we are hooked. Beach Baby was the perfect location for us. The beach is an easy walk out the front door, out the back door to the wooded preserve on the bay. Our dogs were safe between the screened porch & gated back deck. The accommodations were very comfortable & very clean! The outside may look worn, but the inside is updated & beautifully decorated. Bedding, towels, furnishings, everything seemed new & fresh. Kitchen is well stocked with new dishes, pots, pans, dish soap, etc. Owner provided all the essentials for visitors. We will be returning, already looking at a much longer stay due to our great experience.

Great stay again this year. (Our 5th year) House is perfect for our likes! Roomy, the pool was very well kept. QUIET!!! Out door shower is out of bounds. Close walk to the water on eithe side! Our two weinie dogs loved it too. Didnt know I was raising a crab dog! He didnt fair that well, but he had a blast trying!Can hear the ocean at night. Very peaceful and restful. Not to forget David Mann and his wife being so friendly, helpful, and accomidating.. Thanks again for sharing your REAL Florida home with us again. Plan and hope to be back again next year!!! We enjoyed our stay at Studio Sea. We might even book again 😊 The host was an excellent communicator and answered all questions I had prior. I will say the top floor flooring was in need of a deep cleaning, but it’s summer so I’m sure finding the time is hard. The pool was so nice…the pool lounge chairs need to be replaced bad though(they’re like splitting). But it was so hot we stayed in the pool anyways. It does have 2 separate living quarters. 1 family can stay upstairs and the second down. And they ONLY connect from the outside. So keep that in mind if you book for yourself and kids. The washing machine and dryer’s downstairs, which wasn’t an issue for us, but might be for some. Quiet neighbors who I believe live there year round. All in all it was great vacation and a lovely place. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking!
