Hibiscus Cottage is located in a village that is generally very quiet. However, there is the possibility of neighbors with a passion for music playing it a bit loud, kids are about and there are dogs and roosters on surrounding properties. Comfortable Night Stay

Host, Catherine, was prompt to respond to messages and provided detailed directions to the property. We were warmly welcomed and given a cottage tour by her lovely family member upon arrival. Catherine kindly stopped by to say hello later on. Local general store/hot food within 2 minute walk. Grand Anse Beach 10-15 minute taxi ride. Enjoyed our quiet and relaxed remote night stay in the lush mountains. Thank you for your hospitality.

Hibiscus Cottage Stay

The Host family was very friendly and could not do enough for us, during our stay! Through an emergency I had , the Hostess was there for me, which helped me, in so many different ways. Whatever we asked for, we received. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage, and highly recommend it. However due to its location, a car is necessary, but the local bus service is easily accessible.

Island Life Experience

We greatly enjoyed our four day stay. The little house is set on a residential street up in the hills surrounded by banana plants and mango trees and chickens in the yard! Parking was made available at the neighboring home across the street. The hosts were lovely and went far out of their way to ensure we experience some simple pleasures of island life-a mango from the tree, lettuce from the garden, etc. Very promptly answered any question we had about operating appliances in the house etc. We only ran AC at night as we were out all day and it worked very well. We will happily return.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at this well-equipped cottage. The host shared gardening tips and her daughter provided fresh eggs. The property and surrounding properties are well maintained and it is ideally suited for guests with a pet.
