All areas in the hotel were very clean. The hotel was only a 5 or 10 min walk to the centre and about 15 mins to the bus station. Our bedroom was very quiet which was great and had everything that you need..Breakfast was good and was served in a lovely airy room.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Our room was the same and the mattress provided a very comfortable nights sleep which doesn’t happen at a lot of hotels. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food and the breakfast room is very comfortable and enjoyable. The staff all around the hotel particularly on reception are also excellent. I would highly recommend the Savoy to anyone. We have already booked for next year!

Hotel Staff in all areas were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very clean, the only problem in our room was the bath was very slippery and unsafe for our age group so we hardly made use of it. The breakfast was very very good with good choices.

The best part of the hotel was the reception staff, they were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for these professionals, Hotel Savoy you should be so proud of these ladies. The breakfast was a buffet breakfast, fresh and an array of everything, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room on the ground floor was extremely clean, perfect for a one nights stay but it was a little tired looking in places. I would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was very good, a nice experience. Our room was really pretty tired, shower screen (over the bath) leaked badly, carpet in the hall was stretched and wrinkled. However - the staff were excellent, very helpful, ‘can do’ attitude really, really good. They made the difference between an ok place, and a very good one.

We liked the quiet setting of the hotel although it is a 14 minute walk in to the centre where there are a wider choice of places to eat. The size of room was perfect and it was clean. However, for a 4 star hotel the shower facilties definitely need updating. There was also no air conditioning. A fan was provided but was not much help during the hot spell we had whilst we were there. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. Presentation of hotel upon arrival was very pleasing.

Clean and well maintained. Outside amenities are good too. But Wifi isn't stable, You have a TV but it is not connected to power supply at all. No power supply in the second room. Found one under my Bed, after a long struggle. No Fan (portable) facility in peak Summer. Breakfast is great and tasty. Didn't have a chance to visit bar/restaurant. Staff was very helpful and customer friendly.
