Perfect location to everything and was a jump off to our stay in Mackinac Island. House had air conditioning which we greatly appreciated during the hot spell of our stay. Perfect for dogs with lots of space to walk them.
Our group of 4 ladies slept well and enjoyed this quiet neighborhood just outside the main thoroughfare near Castle Rock. It was clean, and had just what we needed for a quick 2 night stop. A smooth 3 minute drive from all the main docks for cruising to Mackinac. Owners were friendly and knew about about the UP.
My family and I had a great experience staying at Castle Rock, the location is very convenient and quite, and close to great attractions. This location meet our family needs and had everything we needed for a great stay. Our dogs absolutely loved the yard! I would highly recommend this for a vacation spot!
The house was very clean with plenty of linens for our party of 6. Located out of town on a quiet street but it was not too far away to be inconvenient to get to the local attractions and services. The property was as advertised. Even though we didn't use it, it had a nices soacious back yard.
This was the perfect spot for our family to stay and enjoy Mackinac Island. Quick and easy access to St. Ignace with all it has to offer, including charters to the island. Home is absolutely adorable. Owners were great with communication, answering any questions that we had. Super accommodating! Would recommend this home to anyone staying in the area.
It's good, I had trouble with the stove. I think it needs heavier pans to get the proper temp. I pushed down on the pan and it worked better. A razor blade can works just slide it across the black stIn.slide
House was extremely clean with comfy furniture and well stocked. Lester got back to me with answers to my questions right away. They even had local attractions and restaurant brochures to look at for making plans. The coffee, snacks and chocolate was a great treat!!!
The location was great, close to town, and the trails.
I couldn’t find the blow dryer that was listed. I didn’t pack mine because of the description, I was disappointed :(.
A second bathroom would be great, but we made it work with the herd we had. But after a great weekend of riding the trails, it would have been nice to have a second one.
Excellent place to stay!!!!!
This was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway to see the Fall colors. We took a day trip to Sault St. Marie and a day on Mackinac Island. It was close to the highway and town but in a nice, quiet area. We were pleased.
This house was perfect for our trip! There was more than enough space our group of 6. We really enjoyed the coffee provided by the hosts and the grill on site was very convenient! The location is so close to everything we wanted to see. The hosts were great and we would definitely stay again! Thanks!
