The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, shops, train station and cultural high points like Tate Gallery St. Ives. "Cottage is in a great central location- in less than a minute you can be on Fore street or Porthmeor beach. Lovely comfy beds, super bathroom. Lounge is a little small but perfectly adequate. The small outside space is great if you are bringing a dog. Would definitely stay again"

"We stopped in St. Ives in 2023 and decided we needed to return and stay long enough to get a real taste for the town and its people. We wanted to be in the "Downalong" area, because of its proximity to the harbour. Orange Roofs' 45 Back Road West popped up in a search and it turned out to be perfect for the two of us, having a king bed room upstairs with bathroom, and a queen bed room downstairs with its own bathroom.
