a 1 bedroom apartment close to the beach and shopping. The bus to town is a quick walk away. Staff was great and everything was clean. Will stay there anytime we visit the island. Loved the experience.

My wife and I were very very impressed how helpful and caring the staff was during our stay.
What great customer care 5 star service. Great location too. Only about a mile from the groceries stores.
And the market offers a one way shuttle back to THE PLUM TREE CLUB. The grounds .... so peaceful
and in the morning on the patio with a cup of coffee, it was fun to watch the monkeys and listen to the birds.
The plants and grounds were well manicured. The condo was spacious and...

Ocean Spray is the place to stay if you are looking for escape from the tourist area of the island. You will need a car if staying at this location or take the bus which is what we did. The bus was very easy to navigate once the staff explained how to ride it and we used the bus every day. There is a small grocery store up the road a short walk for any essentials needed. The property at Ocean Spray is kept up well and the view of the ocean is spectacular. We relaxed on the lounge chairs...

I arrived late at night for a stay at The Sands right down the street, but I didn't want to spend the money for the all-inclusive resort for the first night, just to immediately go to bed and then leave to go sailing the next morning. So, I booked my first night at Melrose to save a couple hundred dollars.
Melrose's rooms are more like small apartments than hotel rooms. It's not luxurious, but it's clean and I had zero issues, and it's equipped so that you could easily stay there for a while...
