This vacation rental home is in the cultural and entertainment heart of downtown St. John's-- facing picturesque Jellybean Row; and, historic Signal Hill and harbour are a short distance away. This 2 story 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house is in mint condition, fully furnished with all kitchen and dining amenities. Hardwood floors throughout. A large country style kitchen with cherry oak cabinets leads to an enclosed garden area which receives full sunshine. Propane BBQ and deck furniture included. An oversize master bedroom with private balcony and en-suite with a whirlpool tub is in the top back. The second bedroom overlooks King's Road-- which is busy with people but not so many cars. Linens included. Wall mounted television with lots of channels from Rogers as well as free internet/WiFi and local calls only telephone. One visitor parking pass [on street parking] included; non-restricted parking is across the street. Lots of shops, restaurants, theatres and bars nearby. Easy walk to MUN.

Cute home in the heart of St. John’s. The owners were very accommodating. Unfortunately, we missed a day in St. John’s due to the cancellation of the ferry. They generously gave us a partial refund.

Wonderful spot in St. John's
The owners were great at communicating leading up to our stay, which made getting there from the airport easy (except for all of the one-way streets and "no turn" signs on some of the streets. Once found, the on street parking permit available in the house was fantastic and the house was central to everything downtown. We would have liked to stay longer than 3 days but needed to head north to hopefully see the total eclipse tomorrow!

This is just like home, if your home is highly superior
We stayed at 83 Kings Road for 2 months and it was the happiest two months of our lives. It was just like home provided your home is clean, comfortable, well-appointed, convenient, filled with music, convenient to everything in St. John's, , with good books to read and interesting prints on the walls. If you house were that good why would you ever leave home? We are sad to leave but hope to retun as soon as possible to enjoy all the good things that the perfect hosts, Marie and Doug, can provide. Two months was not enough time to do everyting.
