"We stayed in the gatehouse for a week with our 2 children 3 and 1 year old. The one level house is ideal for small children with plenty of space for them to play in the private garden. The location is ideal, only a stroll away from the pool, trampoline and swings, set amongst century old trees. We were very nicely welcomed by Heather and her family. "La literie est correcte mais le confort spartiate, pas une chaise, cafetière HS, télévision ne fonctionne pas, filet d'eau pour la douche, proximité voie ferrée mais pas de trains la nuit.Les propriétaires sont néanmoins sympathiques. "My wife, 7 year old daughter and I decided to have a 2 centre holiday in France, arriving to 4 degrees in Paris from Bangkok's 30 degrees. It was somewhat of a relief to arrive in Madiran at Le Prielle to a balmy 18 degrees. We were joined by my older children 16 & 17 from UK and so were 5 in total. A Day in Pau

"We really enjoyed our stay. The reception was welcoming, offered tourist information and recommended restaurants which we went to and enjoyed. The free secure parking was appreciated. The room was clean and spacious and had everything we required. We did not hear any street noise. The location was very accessible to walk to the tourist sights that we visited. We would stay there again. "
