"We came looking for a camping spot for the solar eclipse. Our site was tucked away at the end of a huge field on a small peninsula with a running river nearby. The camping was amazing, the ground was nice and soft for our tents and we could build the campfire up with an endless supply of firewood. The stars were on full display as there wasnt much light pollution in this area. Taking a splash in the fast and cool river was a highlight. If you are looking for a nice place to stay near Syracuse, this is place is a very good choice! The house is beautiful and sweet like home, and the breakfast is pretty delicious. There are some good restaurants nearby too, so don't need to worry about where to have dinners.
The only thing is that they really need to fix the front door of the room I stay (first floor). I couldn't open it from inside at first, then I couldn't lock it from outside. Something must be wrong with the electric...

I booked this place for my husband and a friend who were going salmon fishing, and both of them couldn't stop talking about how great the place was. It was clean, it was modern, and the rooms were spacious. The towels were high quality and "amazing" and the service was fantastic. My husband met the owner(s), and said they were as great as the place. A true gem we were lucky to find, and one we will definitely be visiting again soon.

Sixth year fishing the salmon river, I come up from NJ for a few days. This is the best hotel by far I have stayed in very pleased with everything. Will not stay anywhere else when fishing on the salmon river. Great location on the river is a plus also.

The lodge is beautiful inside and out and so are the staff. My room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the s'mores and the game room. The staff were very nice and incredibly helpful. I will defenately go back, and highly recommend.

My stay was in celebration of my sister's 50th birthday. The hotel was able to get us joining rooms. My niece loved the pool, the beds were super comfy and I liked the pillows too. Everyone in my party really liked the breakfast, the western omelets were so good. I will definitely be booking
with Hamptons Inns from now on.
