"We had a great time. Children and their parents spent a lot of time in the surprisingly large pool. Some adults chose the hot tub and the most active members of our group were paddleboarding and kayaking in the river. Severl people went hiking at Blackwater, and a few of us just sat on the screened in porch."

"We actually came by boat and had a great time. The waterfront restaurants were great, the museum was awesome and we didn't realize they had aquariums with a lot of the bay fish which made it even better. There are a lot of steps to get to the dock but that just helped us burn off all the great food we ate. The house was well equipped with any kitchen items ect.. but we didn't use them. We did use the kayaks to go around the creek one morning and saw turtles, birds, a water snake, and plenty of...

"The house was incredible. My husband loved the master shower! The kids enjoyed the beach and swimming. Our youngest son (39) paddled the creek in the kayak. Our oldest son was able to dock his boat. The house had so many amenities. The kitchen was well stocked. There were games and books for all ages. We hope this home is available whenever we go back to visit family. "I chose to stay at this property for the duration of my wedding weekend. It was really great to be able to spend that extra time with family all together! Getting ready at the house, rather than a hotel was also really nice because we had much more room to space out. The make up artist and hair stylist also complimented the ample natural light and space to work. The pool and hot tub were beautiful! The only downside was a lack of curtains in the master bedroom. "I was looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing, vacation. This property did not disappoint. The house was comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and so clean. The view is incredible. Just sitting outside watching the river was so "Zen". I had one of the most restful vacations ever. I was there for a little over two weeks and I would have stayed longer if I could have, Kim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at this beautiful property again."
