Historic headquarters of city founder! Gated parking!

Historic brick cottage has its own granite monument on Main Street. Private gated parking, huge fenced front yard. A history buff’s dream! So many restaurants and shops, Frontier Park, parades, festivals and fun!

Very comfortable sleeping - queen bed in the bedroom and gel foam mattress on the sofa bed in the living room.

Parking is at a premium on Main Street, but you leave the car and walk everywhere, knowing your car is inside the gated area waiting for your return. There is room for four cars, or even an RV!

Check out the City’s website for all of the activities going on in the area. The holidays are especially fun with special events like ice carving contests, costumed characters, singing on the street corners, and Santa parades. Festival of the Little Hills, OktoberFest, and Fourth of July fireworks on the river are just a few of the things unique to the Historic District.

Some favorite restaurants on Main Street are Old Millstream, Magpie’s, Salt and Smoke, Llewelyn’s, and Novellus - and there are many, many more!

Such a cute house with a lot of history. Enjoyed reading the books provided that tell the history of all the buildings on main street.Walking distance to many shops and restraurants.

Historic house on Main St

Staying at this house was a great time. Clean, functional kitchen, big trees, and super comfortable bed. Close to a bunch of great restaurants ( Frontier Perk Cafe),coffee shops (Mocha Point Yemeni Coffee Shop), and shopping, (Main Street Book Store, Saturday morning farmers market)

Weekend Getaway

This is such a cool little place! Absolutely best location for shopping Main St. Lynn’s place is very clean and well decorated. Although it’s right on Main St it is a very quiet location. Parking is so convenient with its own private parking in back of the property. We will absolutely be staying here again.

Wonderful Property in a Perfect Location

The pictures don’t do this charming, historic property justice. Lynn was wonderful to work with and has provided every amenity to make for a comfortable stay. The gated private parking is also a huge plus. We’ll definitely book again.

Perfect Historical St Charles location

Walking distance to all the shops in historical St.Charles. So charming and Lynn was so sweet to work with. She prefers in person check in to explain the property details. She was so helpful.

Historic St. Charles perfect stay!

I can’t say enough good things about this property and its host! Lynn is so responsive and gives wonderful recommendations for the area! The location is perfect and close distance to walk to many local stores and eateries! The home is decorated absolutely preciously in historic fashion, and cleanliness is immaculate! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! I adored this perfect historic get away! :)

This place is perfect for enjoying historic St. Charles!

Lynn's property is a beautiful little house right in the heart of historic St. Charles. We stay two nights and loved it. Comfortable and charming little house. Beautiful front yard with outdoor seating and killer view of Main Street. Easy parking and of course access to the river front and right on Main Street. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Lynn was very responsive, friendly, flexible and helpful. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this super neat historic house! The location is amazing, and the neighborhood is adorable. The house has a locked fence around it with a huge driveway. There are several restaurants (coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner, ice cream shops and bakeries) and shops to walk to. The people of the town are so nice. It's a perfect mix of Hermann and Eureka Springs! It's close enough to uber to the cardinals game and there is a ton of places to eat and go to, in the surrounding communities.

Charming Historic Home

We loved our recent stay in Lynn's charming historic home. The location was very convenient to restaurants, bars and shops and also easy access to Interstate 70 and 370. Lynn is a very responsive host and her home was nicely appointed with interesting antiques and everything we needed for a great stay. We especially enjoyed the gated secure parking. Next time we need a St. Charles home we hope Lynn's home is available.

Fabulous property, perfect location, great host, fun town, excellent food (and booze), music/dancing!!Lynn has thought of everything, the property is well stocked and every amenity covered. Even down to the ugly umbrella (which we needed and was glad it was there :) Very comfortable stay, we will be returning guests! Thanks LynnIf you're coming to the St. Charles area don't forget to check out the wineries over in Defiance and Augusta.

Fantastic stay, will return!

Property is as described, and better. We had a wonderful, short stay and found the Headquarters to be a perfect jumping off point for exploring and enjoying Saint Charles. Host was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. Clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen, and unbeatable location. Charming property- there was even a whitetail bunny hopping around the front yard when I stepped out with my coffee in the morning! Will absolutely look to book this property for future visits. 10/10 highly recommended!

Wonderful in all respects

This historic house has been lovingly restored with period artifacts and furnishings, and fully appointed with up-to-date appliances and facilities. Lynn is one of the most gracious and efficient hosts we've ever encountered, from greeting us in person on arrival to getting the cable company to promptly resolve a problem with its equipment. The location is ideal in the historic district. Especially if you visit during festivals or other busy times you will be grateful for the gated on-site parking!

The property was just as described. Very nice location was able to walk to almost everything downtown. A nice place to stay, relax, shop, and eat there is definitely something for all ages in Saint Charles. There is a lot of history in this little town. Linda was great. Very helpful in giving recommendations. Would definitely stay there again.

Exceptional historic home!

This home offers everything you need to experience the St Charles charm. This historical home is meticulously kept! There is private parking and a private front yard that gives you privacy from people passing by. The owner is wonderful, and very responsive! I highly recommend this property!

The only thing we didn't like was the commercial BBQ smoker next door which smelled quite strongly outdoors and even indoors to some extent. The house itself is very comfortable and convenient.
