Beautiful property. We enjoyed the food & the light shows in the Grand Hall. We also enjoyed riding the St. Louis Wheel & visiting the Aquarium. The “Whispering Wall” caught our attention as well.

Loved the property - will likely stay again. We booked through Exprdia at a given rate. At check-in we were given a complimentary upgrade to a historic room. We later realized we were charged for the upgraded room. A call to the front desk quickly resulted in a credit back to us. Overall, we'd were very happy with our stay.

It is a beautiful location with lots of things to do. Many food options. My only complaint is that twice while visiting, there were big weddings that makes the coffee shop close early and the entire grand hall off limits and a bit of late nite noise. Seems hard to avoid them. Otherwise the place is great.

I liked location of this property because of closeness to AMTRAX Train station. It was an adventure to navigate the elevator floor selection buttons and unique “train track” numbers on the hallway signs to reach “train track” guest rooms. I liked the spacious conference rooms. I didn’t like our room phone and coffee pot electric outlet. We wanted to reported our coffee pot electric plug would not work but operator did not answer. We make room coffee using the bathroom electric plug because the desk electrical plug did not work. Later that morning, we found free Starbucks coffee was available outside the breakfast restaurant.

The hotel's history and architecture is amazing and so beautiful! At the end of our busy (site seeing) day we relaxed by the bar with adult beverages and enjoyed the images displayed on the ceiling, it was an awesome experience.

Never left the property as there was so much to do. The light show in the central lobby and bar was a surprise. We recommend the Train Shed restaurant and taking the large ferris wheel which is steps away. Our room was spacious and quiet.

it's a historic hotel, beautiful lobby. The room was clean enough but could have used a good dusting and the bathroom floor needed mopping. Bed was comfortable enough, towels weren't lux but they were nice enough. Huge TV not that I used it. Nice restaurant - good food (pancakes were awesome) and the staff was nice and pleasant. Hotel staff was mixed - some were awesome, some not so much. Safe in the room. It was a nice hotel - could be nicer but it was nice enough. Location was ok - about a mile to the Arch. My biggest issue was there were dead birds laying on the glass roof between floors so when you were waiting for the elevator or stepping out of the elevator you saw the dead birds laying there. Not a sight you'd want to see every time you are coming or going, not great - not sure why the hotel doesn't do something to stop them from striking the glass. Seems there would be a cheap and practical solution for this.

Pool was nice. Wait staff at Great Hall Bar a bit rude. Light show was boring, even the kids watching were bored. Room was fine Housekeeping woke us up at 830am to see if we had left yet, which seemed off. Let us sleep. Check out isn't until 11, wouldn't stay again
