Duck Lake West Shore, Just 15 Minutes from Glacier National Park!
10/10 Excellent
"Love, love, love this property! So close to the East entrance to Glacier National Park. So peaceful and quiet. The home was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Please note though that there is no lake access currently from the backyard like in the pictures. My boys were hoping to fish in the backyard each evening, but the lake has receeded and there was a long marshy area between the house and the lake so it wasn't accessible, so my boys were pretty bummed about that, as this was one of the main reasons we picked this house. But, we rolled with it and did fishing in the National Park instead. Communication was prompt whenever we had a question. We appreciated the entryway with a bench and space for our hiking boots and hanging coats, etc. The washer/dryer was a huge plus and another reason we stayed here. The beds were comfy and the loft was great for my two teenage boys to have their own space. We loved the fireplace as even in July the nights got chilly. Would definitely stay here again when visiting East glacier."
BUNKHOUSE RV - MOUNTAIN VIEWS ON A BUDGET & MINUTES TO GLACIER EAST ENTRANCE
8/10 Good
"Good location for access to Many Glacier and St Mary entrances to the park. Quiet, ranch setting. Wi-Fi and TV may not work, but as soon as you drive to Babb, just 4 miles south, all messages can be sent and received. Clean RV. Very nice and responsive host."
"We loved this hidden gem. It was so clean, and the property was beautiful. It was perfect after being in Glacier National Park all day. We would 100% stay here again! It had a cabin feel to it and was so cool to stay on a ranch."
"What a treat to stay where you take a few steps from the hotel to the lake and view the mountains and scenery--no need to drive, although there are beautiful sights within driving distance and wonderful hiking trails that allow you to get even closer to the beautiful scenery.
We stayed in a double bed room on the basement/lake floor. Special treat to have a second door with screen door that opened to the lake side of the hotel. This part of the hotel has an elevator for which we were grateful, especially after viewing all the stairs both inside and out. The room was comfortable with fan and even a small desk.
We took the hotel tour offered each afternoon. Our tour guide was interesting and shared much of the history of how the hotel was built, remodeled and remodeled again--had a notebook of pictures that helped understanding of the changes over the years.
We ate in the Ptagmigan Dining Room for breakfast--the breakfast continental breakfast met our needs. Lunch and dinner were enjoyed in the Swiss Lounge. There is also a small store on the lake level of the hotel which sells snacks, drinks and other food options. Staff in all hotel locations were friendly and helpful.
Excellent choice IF you can get a reservation!"
Wagon Wheel Home - Majestic Mountain Views - 15 Minutes to Glacier East Entrance
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect location for what we wanted to do. The house was perfect and we loved all the animals. Northern lights our first night and 4th of July were unbelievable! Cheyenne and Andrew, you guys are awesome!"
"Property was exactly as advertised. Room was clean. Closest city was an absolute dump, and the place was small, so we felt the price was on the high side. But, we knew what we were getting. One negative about the rental was there wasn't anywhere to put the garbage when we left, so we had to take it with us. Overall it was as advertised, clean, quiet, and we felt safe."
10 minutes to Glacier National Park! Central Eastside location for park access.
10/10 Excellent
"The house was very spacious, in a quiet remote area and close to the St Marys and Many Glacier entrances of Glacier National Park. The kitchen was well stocked with all our cooking and baking needs. The bedrooms/closets were spacious and the beds were comfy. it was the perfect house for our family vacation!!"
