"this place has been under "renovations" for a while it seems...The flooring has been dug up near the lobby and there is a significant hole boarded up...On their website, there is not indication about the renovations or the restaurant and bar not being opened...I have stayed here a while ago and really enjoyed that aspect of the place and was disappointed it wasn't open. I will call them before I book in the future..."

"Even though the property is unmanned, the staff was very helpful when needed. I left a jacket in the room and when contacted, Janet went above and beyond in helping have it successfully picked up by my friends. Accommodation has everything you need and the double bed was comfortable. The restaurant next door is excellent and only a short distance away is the lovely walk along the river. And for a fine dining experience, the Rendez-vous did not disappoint."

"We used this property as a little getaway after our group was done work in Fort Frances every day. Wonderful view of the lake from the back deck, and the cabin was very nice. I will definitely go back in the future."

"This property was lovely - great location - close to the water/dock. Close enough to town when more bait was needed. Far enough out - quiet, relaxing. The owner went above and beyond when an item got left behind to ensure it got shipped back to us.For us, personally - a family of four - one adult child and a teenager, this was a bit small for our situation. We brought food for the week and the fridge was small for what we had.We would consider staying again with modifications to our food planning."
