  • The recently renovated Carpenter St. Cottage is centrally located in village of St. Michaels. The house is a 2 bedroom 2 full bathroom house with plenty of living space and a large screened porch facing a large yard. Rates vary by season, and whether stay is weeknight or weekend. Stays of a week or longer are discounted, as are "last minute" bookings.

    The first floor of the house includes a front parlor (living room), a den (reading room) with a queen sleep sofa, a full bathroom, a first floor bedroom with a queen bed, a fully equipped new kitchen, and a large family room. Adjacent the family room is a large screened porch facing the large rear yard. The second floor of the house comprises the large master bedroom with a king bed and the master bathroom.

A lovely home just a block from the shops and restaurants on Talbot Street. The rear addition adds generous living space while preserving the charm of the historic house. The screened-in back deck is a great feature for relaxing evenings.Upstairs, the bedroom feels like a second retreat—spacious, comfortable, and filled with windows that let in the night air (no AC needed). My pup especially enjoyed lounging in her bed, watching the squirrels in the yard, and taking long walks through the quiet back streets and marinas of St. Michaels.

Perfect Weekend Stay

This house has the perfect location to explore the town. We stayed in this house for the St. Michael’s Running Festival and it couldn’t have been better. The location was so close to the start/finish lines and there were so many restaurants within a few minutes walk.

The Carpenter Street Cottage is a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable and has all of the necessary amenities. The location is perfect for walking throughout the town. I will definitely stay there again!

This house was in the perfect location, central to everything in St. Michaels. I wish the furniture was more comfortable in the shared spaces for hanging out, but overall a wonderful weekend with friends.

The house was a great size. Right in the middle of everything you could want to do in St. Michael’s. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. The screened in porch was great, and it was nice to have a small backyard.

Perfect in Every Way!

Such a beautiful home-perfect location, filled with antiques plus everything needed for a fun getaway. The house is located right off of Talbott Street- enjoyed walking to local bakery/coffee shop- Sprout, eating breakfast at Carpenter Street Saloon and shopping. Great communication with our host who was so knowledgeable about the area. Church bells rang throughout the day. Beautiful views all around. Easy walk to the Lighthouse and Maritime Museum.

Getaway in St. Michaels

We had a wonderful time! The location of the house allowed us to park the car and walk everywhere we wanted to go! Love the house - the set up of the rooms is great. The master bedroom is amazing! We enjoyed afternoons on the screened-in porch - the ceiling fans really helped, because it was hot! Very relaxing time!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this home in St Michaels. The location is perfect for walking to all the restaurants, shops and attractions. We loved the screened in porch and spent our mornings and happy hours enjoying the fresh air without being bothered by bugs. The home is spacious for two couples, our baby and family dog all had plenty of room. Cute home that is much nicer then the pictures show. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Great Location

This property is in a great location to the downtown area and marina. My girlfriends and I did a girls weekend here. Hurricane Debby made an appearance but we weren't rained out all weekend. It did bring a lot of ants into the house though which was frustrating. There needs to be more comfortable seating in the family room area. The couch was great but the chairs were not great. We did inform the owner about the ants and a few things that we saw that needed to be repaired and or cleaned. Other than that our stay was wonderful.
