If you’re seeking a Hilton or Steigenberger chain experience, this isn’t it—and that’s precisely its appeal. Most rooms are very nice with updated features, and the suite bathrooms are wonderfully renovated. While rooms are smaller than typical chain hotels, they’re efficiently designed and far more characterful. Breakfast is fantastic with plenty of options served in a vibrant, café-style space that sets the perfect tone for exploring the city. The hotel no longer has an on-site restaurant, but honestly, you won’t miss it. Dozens of excellent Bavarian restaurants are within a five-minute walk—including the world-renowned Hofbräuhaus. There’s also a cozy bar and lounge with dessert options for quieter evenings. The staff was exceptional: courteous, accommodating, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. If you embrace the charm and character of a classic European boutique hotel, this is an outstanding choice. I’d absolutely return here the next time I’m in Munich."

"The hotel was fine but had a issue with the staff. My kid bought a drink from there vending machine. The machine gave him the wrong drink. I asked the staff in the lobby if he could get his money back. They refused to help with this situation. They say they don’t own the machines so there is nothing they can do. I was irritated that a hotel would not take responsibility for machines that are in there lobby. I told them they could keep the drink because no one wanted it. I was very disappointed in how they handled the situation. I have stay at this hotel multiple times but I will no longer be staying here. "
