"Be aware of closed days. You can get a room, but no air conditioning but mountain air and self check in. Breakfast was awesome and owner was great. Town is 10 t0 15 min away, so a bit inconvenient, BUT super quiet and relaxing. Wish the kitchen was open as we heard the food is great."

"Wonderful family-run hotel with excellent restaurant. Couple who run this hotel are friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. They speak fluent English, which was helpful. Our meal in the restaurant was the best we had during our trip and was made with locally-sourced ingredients. The hotel itself is a beautifully restored and updated building. The fact that it is adults only ensured a quiet, restful stay. Great Black Forest location with plenty of parking."

"Die Wohnung ist wirklich très chic und der Ausblick einfach phantastisch - ein insgesamt umwerfendes Ambiente. Einmalig und immer hilfsbereit auch das "Team Winzerhof". Leider war aufgrund des Jetstreams mit durchgehend grauem, nasskaltem Wetter (im Hochsommer!) die wundervolle Terrasse während der gesamten 2 Wochen kaum zu nutzen. Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert und mit Sonne einfach traumhaft schön."

"Caution: This B&B was difficult to find. Lots of steps and my husband is partially disabled. A young man did help with the bags. The room was very basic. The soap dispenser (just one for both sink and shower) was empty. There were no toiletries as promised; when I asked for some, I was grudgingly given some half-empty, used ones. "Great views from the rooms. Friendly staff and note that some rooms require use of stairs to access (for those of us with large suitcases). Rooms are very modern, clean and our family room was quite spacious. Pool and sauna were very nice. Only 15 min walk to any site. Restaurant on site for convenience. Great choice for stay in the area."
