Imagine waking to the sound of the ocean from our 6th floor, beach-front condo! Right on Madeira Beach, our condo complex has a heated pool, hot tub, shuffleboard court, tiki hut and a large barbeque grill. Experience true on-the-beach living!

Luxuriate in a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine from the 30 foot long balcony which spans the length of the condo. Access the balcony from both the living room and master bedroom so everyone can truly appreciate the breathtaking ocean views and spectacular sunsets. You might even get to see the elusive "green flash" as the sun settles below the horizon.

Madeira Beach, which the locals call Mad Beach, stretches in front of our condo which we lovingly call La Playa Loca. Enjoy the 180 degree view of the Gulf of America. If you'd rather swim closer to home, feel free to use the building's heated pool and hot tub reserved exclusively for those staying at the Ocean Sands complex.

Our condo is located between Clearwater and St. Pete Beaches, and within 45 mins. of Tampa International Airport. The building is within a short walking distance to a grocery store, drug store, convenience store, restaurants, bars, shops, a post office and a library. The popular John's Pass Village is a short trolley ride away.

La Playa Loca is professionally cleaned between all guests. Cleaners have been trained and use checklists to disinfect surfaces, linens and towels, particularly with regards to the current health environment.

La Playa Loca offers all the amenities you'd expect in a fully furnished condo:

Still FABULOUS as always

I have stayed here 5 times and every time when our 14 days are up it is sooo very hard to leave. The owners are extremely considerate and they sincerely care about their guest! The condo is close to shopping and great restaurants. This should be titled , THE BEST VIEW OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN IN MADERIA l

We truly enjoyed Scott and Laurie’s condo. Beautiful place and location. In the many years of staying in vacation rentals, we’ve never stayed in a place so well stocked. Beach Front Bliss

Another year, another wonderful vacation at La Playa Loca. We enjoyed our time in the sun spending time at the pool and on the beach. The view from the balcony is spectacular where you can view the dolphins in the morning and the sunsets in the evening. The condo is very clean and well maintained. As always, Scott and Laurie are great hosts who ensure you have everything you need to sit back and enjoy your time at their condo in Ocean Sands. Relaxing Getaway!

We had an amazing time in Madeira Beach while staying here. The condo is in a great location and enjoying coffee on the balcony overlooking the beach each morning was fabulous! Spectacular! What a beautiful condo! Scott and Laurie are the most responsive hosts we’ve ever encountered with VRBO. When they asked us if there was anything they needed to change or fix, we honestly couldn’t think of a single thing! Welcome to paradise!

Excellent Condominium

This is our third time staying at this condo on the beach. Scott and Laurie take excellent care of their property. We love sitting on the large balcony over looking the Gulf of Mexico. The sunsets are spectacular. The condo is well stocked with everything you need for the beach and pool. The kitchen has everything for cooking dinner or restaurants across the street for when we didn’t feel like preparing dinner. We have booked another stay. We will be back.

This Place Has It All

This beachfront condo provides everything you need for fun, inside and out. The decor, amenities, comfort and location are perfect. The sunsets from the huge balcony were magnificent and walking to the beach bars/restaurants for good food and live music was such fun. Scott and Laurie are extremely generous and thoughtful hosts. In our opinion this is the best condo on madeira beach - we love it so much we bought one . You can not go wrong renting this vacation condo . The view can not be beat . The beds are fabulous , condo is fully stocked with supplies (tissue ,soap , towels , ocean toys , laundry etc . Fabulous owners to rent from .

Exceptional Beach Paradise

Our stay at La Playa Loca exceeded our expectations. Scott and Laurie were perfect hosts and thought of everything. Anything you could possibly need was in the condo. The location near restaurants and stores is ideal. All the beach equipment and even a cart made beach time a breeze. The large deck was a perfect place to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets and dolphin sightings.

Playa Loca

Well maintained and clean condo that was well equipped with beach equipment, beach towels and a nicely appointed, modern kitchen. We have stored at several other units in this building and this was definitely the nicest. Excellent communication with the owner who seemed genuinely interested in our well being. I plan to return.

My Favorite Place

Madiera Beach is our favorite place to visit every summer. We have stayed a few places but this condo is the best we have found and we have stayed here for 3 years in a row. From the friendliness of the owners to all the extra beach toys they provide, the experience is wonderful. I almost hate to write this review because I don't want to have competition in booking this condo in the future. We will absolutely be booking this condo for years to come.

As good as last year (and last year was great!)

As soon as we booked with Scott and Lawrie last year, we knew that we found our all-time favorite Florida rental. We've been vacationing on Florida's west coast for over 20 years, and we've stayed in some properties that we thought rated a "9", but after staying here twice, Scott & Laurie get a "10" and all of the other properties where we've stayed get a "7". We're going back in September, and we can't wait!

Beautiful condo and terrific hosts. Had a wonderful experience. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Feels like a home away from home! Building has also incorporated COVID social distancing safeguards regarding elevator use, which was comforting. Condo, beach and pool areas were all very clean.

Amazing stay.

Call it luck or a blessing but we booked this condo last minute after others cancelled. What an amazing location, area, and condo. Scott and Laurie do not disappoint with this one of a kind stay. They are so hospitable and welcoming. The condo has absolutely any and everything you would need. We were even greeted with chocolate covered strawberries! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area to stay here. Book well in advance! This place goes quick!
