First Timers

This was my families first time booking through Vrbo and it did not disappoint! The condo looked exactly like the pictures and our view was spectacular! Communication regarding our booking was easy to follow and contained all the details we needed for our stay.The condo was clean and nicely decorated. Felt like a home away from home. The condo contained beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach toys which was awesome! The location of the condo was nicely placed between the beach and Johns Pass which allowed us to enjoy a nice day at the beach and then walk across the road to shop and eat. Would recommend to others and we will hopefully visit again in the future.

A great couples getaway

The property was great. The view was amazing. The experience was nice quiet, and relaxing. The pool was great. The maintenance person on the property was great with a lot of knowledge about the area and the property. Definitely a place we would visit again.

Great stay. 4 star rating on cleanliness of property because pool was closed a few times because of ducks/birds doing their business in the pool and it took several hours to get it cleaned up and open. 4 star on accuracy of listing because half bath is really a toilet and sink in closet with water heater. Other than that, 5 star rating, the unit was clean, plenty of towels, dish soap, and paper towels, large deck right over the pool with full view of ocean and beach. Would stay here again.

Sensational LR beach view - excellent location!

Unique 80s 1st FL condo situated at the end of the bldg a few steps from elevator, stairs and next to a rental agency office above the parking area (convos carried straight into the condo). If you're a light sleeper, bring an eye mask and ear plugs to block out next door's exterior lighting, the voices and the upstairs unit's toilet flushing and footsteps. Partially updated (furniture & kitchen) with a toilet and sink located inside the bedroom's walk-in closet. Sensational Living Room beach view with the pool immediately in front (loud kid alert). Nice rental agency with detailed emails.

Girls Trip

Very close to the beach (plus). Inside of condo (plus) older building with creepy hallways and stairways (negative) too many different codes to gates and doors (negative). 24 hours before a tropical storm all lawn chairs removed from pool area- we were told that we could sit on the ground. No communication from property management on what to expect during said tropical storm.(negative) This certainly isn’t the condo owner’s fault. All in all…the owners of the property plus….property management ( negative).

We rented for 5 nights and left a day early due to the poor accommodations. The unit was not clean when we arrived, tile floors with food particles, the drapes fell on our head, mold around the air vents, sofa and beds sag, patio furniture rusty. Not a 5 star as advertised, we give it minus 1.

Need updates. Fan in restroom was not working. Need a smart tv or a roku to be able to watch our own apps if we were stuck inside due to bad weather like we were. Floors need mopped. Botton of our socks and feet got really dirty and the pull out mattress not firm at all even when you sat in it you sank

Stay able but needs help

I’ll start with the -positives -I love the location of the unit -the shower was nice and updated -the living room and kitchen are great..bedroom is good too -beds were similar to my own so that was nice for a change, most places have awful beds Now the negatives -the doors ALL NEED REPLACED -the bathroom (other than shower) needs redone -the dust on the main bathroom sink ledge, bathroom floor was clearly there for a very long time -the “1/2 bath” was a utility/master/storage closet all in one -overall IT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED BETTER I planned on showing pictures I took of my socks after checking in..I wish I would have taken before pic so you knew they were a BRAND NEW pair...after 2 hrs in the unit this is what I got and I took other pictures of areas I stated need major help. However it will not let me add pictures here so if you would like to see the I’ll be happy to share ..that was the whole point of taking them.

Great Location / Air and Toilet Broke

Loved the location of the condo-right on the beach, above the pool, and across from John's Pass. Overall the condo was great-bathrooms and beds could be better. There were a few things that occurred during our trip that caused inconvenience and some discomfort. Upon arrival, the air conditioning was not working properly and we had to call someone out. They were able to charge the unit, but let us know that it needed replaced. The next day, the toilet stopped flushing. We had to wait most of the day for someone to come out to fix the issue. During the last 40+ hours of our stay, the air conditioning completely stopped working. We had to wait an entire day for someone to come out and they were unable to get it working. The person that came out said the unit would frequently stop working/reoccurring issue and there is a wire issue between the unit and the roof they are unable to get to. The condo reached the high 80's for 40+ hours. We had to keep the windows / doors open during red tide (high respiratory irritation days). I was disappointed when trying to get a partial refund. If the air conditioning unit was replaced, I would highly recommend this unit for a great vacation. If not replaced, I would not risk the inconvenience and discomfort that we unfortunately experienced.

This place has potential!

The positives are that this rental has an amazing location and view! The decorations are lovely, and the outdoor furniture is comfortable. It also had beach chairs, umbrellas, a boogie board, and sand toys, along with beach towels. The appliances seem to be newer, and it had everything we needed to cook dinner a couple of nights. Also has an extra half bathroom whiuch is weirdly in the closet, but helpful when 2 people are trying to get ready or brush their teeth. This place has a ton of potential! However, upon getting there the first night, my 10 year old noticed her socks had turned black, and we realized the floors were filthy, to the point that anytime we walked around either our feet got nasty or socks turned black. There were also hairs on the toilet which was not thoroughly cleaned. Our first morning my husband went to make coffee and the coffee maker had not been cleaned. Later that day when he went to put dishes in the dishwasher, it had standing dirty, putrid water. We called management and they came out and ran it on sanitize (we were afraid it was clogged or something). I spoke to him then about these issues, and also added that the dresser in the bedroom had something spilled on it and never cleaned up. They offered to have cleaners come, but truthfully we were trying to relax and decided to clean ourselves so that our vacation wasn't too disrupted. Other small things that would be good to know, is that the beds are NOT comfy, definitely need new mattresses, and the couch was ok, but not the most comfortable either. There is also a drawer in the kitchen that can only be used by opening the oven door, which we found more humorous than annoying. It is run down in some places, such as the doors to the bathroom are torn up and the hinges are completely rusted. Overall, if this condo was cleaned properly, a couple of doors replaced, and given new bed mattresses, it would be a pretty nice.
