Chateaux 206 - GULF FRONT Condo - Spectacular Sunsets

Direct Gulf front balcony to enjoy spectacular sunsets! This one-bedroom condo features a California King bed with a ceiling fan for added comfort. There is a TV with cable in the bedroom as well. There is a TV with cable and DVD player in the living room for when you can pull yourself away from the beach. The fully equipped updated kitchen is perfect for preparing memorable meals and fun beach picnics. The updated bathroom has a tub with a shower. The property has an online application operated laundry room on the 1st floor along with a change machine for convenience. The beachside heated pool is surrounded by a paver deck that has both open and covered areas, as you choose your sun exposure. There is an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand before getting into the pool or coming into the building. There are also two restrooms in the gated pool area. The large built-in gas grill is perfect for the catch of the day watching the surf and sunset. This is a smoke-free condo and no pets are allowed. The condo has FREE secure WiFi and FREE long-distance to US and Canada. Assigned parking space. The putt-putt golf "Smugglers Cove" is just across the street, the kids always have fun feeding the little alligators. There are nearby restaurants within walking distance and many just up and down the beach within 2 miles. Please ask your reservations about FREE weekday bicycle use and FREE unlimited DVD movie discs. (No queen sleeper sofa as of 10/27/21)

Amazing Gulf view

Amazing Gulf view, very clean, Full kitchen, tube shower and big one bedroom condo. Pool was a little small and The neighbors above us were very loud and kept us up all night and where loud during the day too. The windows are old and you could hear people talking while walking by and the street cars all night too. But still and very nice condo and very big patio.

Location location location!!

This condo has to have one of the best views and accessibility to the Gulf of Mexico as anything out there! Indian Shores is a beautiful, quiet community along Gulf Boulevard. 25 minutes from St Pete and 25 minutes from beautiful Clearwater, you can't ask for much more. Smuggler's Cove, a super cool 18 hole mini golf course is right across the street. The only thing I would advise is that you bring extra garbage bags, paper towels and toilet paper. For some reason they only provide one of each. Plumber Rentals is awesome and can rent you pretty much anything you need for the beach at a very reasonable rate. We would definitely consider staying here again and absolutely love this area.

Couple getaway

Second time staying at this property. Quiet area! Just a short drive to lots or restaurants. The complex is still recovering from the Hurricane damage but we expected that. The unit was just as advertised. Nice and clean with a perfect view! Easy communication with Plumlee.

Deception?

The property has an elevator that hasn’t worked since the last storm. That was not in the listing and should have been. Rental agency sends an email 48 hours before check in saying you can cancel for a full refund. They know the elevator hasn’t worked in months, not very honest.

Balcony facing the beach

Outstanding balcony view facing the beach! Very nice property. Check in process is old school. An improvement would be to send the door code via the VRBO app rather than getting a packet from a different address (especially for an after hours arrival). It was within walking distance of the Salt Rock Grill, which I highly recommend (we ate their 3 nights in a row).

Pleasant stay

We have stayed here at this complex about a dozen times over the past 20 years. Very nice facility every time we stay. The complex does appear to need some upkeep, I hope it is on a schedule to be completed soon.

A great week

We had a wonderful stay at this clean, well stocked condo. The heavy-heeled, pacing neighbor in the unit above was an unfortunate annoyance. Overall, a great gulf-front stay.

Quick getaway.

Excellent location and property. Price has risen over the years for this location in general and eventually might price us out of the area. (Retired now.) Unit was comfortable, furniture was updated. (Power recliner rocked!) A bit short on the kitchen utensils. We bought a frozen pizza the first night to find no pizza pan or cutter. Also, the lighting in the bathroom is very dim and there is no safety mat to stand on in the tub while showering. No drain plug for the tub, so you couldn’t have taken a bath if you wanted too. So the bathroom is the only real criticism of the unit.
