Clearwater Beach House - Right On The Beach

*This property is a duplex, you will be renting one side which is 2 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms consisting of a ground floor entryway that goes to the second level living area with a kitchen, living room, full bathroom and your own deck overlooking the beach and Gulf. Both bedrooms are on the third level each having their own bathrooms and decks overlooking the beach and Gulf. You will be booking one side of the duplex which will be labeled as #1 or #2. * The days when you could step out your door and walk onto white powder sand on beautiful Clearwater Beach are largely gone, giving way to towering condos where getting to the beach means an elevator ride and a security door. But if your pleasure is sand between your toes, dunes at your feet, and the sound of surf as you doze off from an idyllic day of beach lounging, then this is the place for you.

Wild and natural Caladesi Island is a thirty minute walk up the beach. Caladesi Island State Park is annually rated one of the top five beaches in North America because of its powder white sand, undisturbed natural habitat, abundance of wildlife, and crystal clear waters.

The Clearwater Pier and beach night life is a ten minute walk south, with its abundance of shops and restaurants. Beach activities abound here, including pier fishing, jet ski and parasailing rentals, kite flying, and local and national beach volleyball tournaments. Dolphin and island sightseeing tours leave from Clearwater Harbor, just across from the pier. Pier 60 is a great place for people watching each evening as artists, street vendors, and fellow people gawkers gather together to watch the sunset.

Our property embraces the beach. Sun and ocean vistas spill into every room. Each floor is wrapped by a deep porches, allowing you to take shelter from sun or storms while soaking in the ambience of the beach. So it is virtually impossible for you to miss the sunset, no matter which room you are in.

Each bedroom has its own full bath and balcony. There is also a third full bath with a shower on the second floor to allow swimmers and sand castle builders to shed the salt and sand from the day's play.

Each unit is fully equipped and fully furnished for a pleasurable stay. We also have covered parking and can accommodate three cars for each unit, or two vehicles and a boat trailer. For boaters, there is a boat ramp on the Intercostal just four blocks away with room for overnight trailer and boat storage.

Great Sunset Views and Easy Beach Access

We loved the beach access and the sunset views! These were the reasons we booked this and we loved it. We also found that there were many food options within walking distance, which was a bonus.

Perfect Location

Great Location, walking distance to everything. Other than needing some light bulbs replaced, more cooking utensils, and some updating the house is absolutely perfect. Great views from every room and balconies. Very clean inside and out. If you want beachfront, this is it! Would stay here again.

Perfect Beach Location

We love the easy access to the beach - to the park and within walking distance to restaurants. It is spacious and light and plenty of room to have family or friends come and stay. The only reason we didn't rate 5 stars is that it is somewhat dated - outdoor furniture is not comfortable, beach chairs were non-existent (could be from earlier storm?) and dishware is not conducive to beach house.However with that being said - we have returned because the owner is responsive and the location can't be beat.

Perfect Vacation Getaway

This location is absolutely perfect. We were able to walk to so many great shops and restaurants. Many of things just a short drive away as well. We will most definitely be booking here again. Thank you to Andrew the Host as he was very accommodating and quick to respond.

Beach Life

We stayed at this property for our son’s spring break. We had a great week! This is the perfect location on the beach to enjoy the sand and Ocean. So many great restaurants in walking distance to the property!!When we arrived Jade greeted us. She was putting the final touches on the house. She was incredibly helpful! The pictures of the views don’t do it justice. The Views from inside and outside the house are incredible!There were also some cosmetic changes to window treatment and bedding not shown in pictures, that made the space feel more updated. We loved having the three levels, the shaded area under the balconies had a picnic table, this area was very useful. We would definitely stay here again.Thanks for the memories Andrew, Jade & Clearwater Beach:)

Perfect spot for a beach vacation!

This property was everything we wanted for a small bachelorette party! It looks exactly like the photos and the location truly can’t be beat, walk right out and onto the beach! The street was quiet but still near all the bars and restaurants you could want. We also loved the bottom overhanging level, where even though it was raining we could hang out outside and feel like we were on the beach. Kitchen was stocked pretty well, beds were comfy, and the host was incredibly responsive. I can’t recommend enough!

Hidden treasure

This place is magnificent! Me and the lady spent three days in our own little paradise. To be able to walk out barefoot at anytime to the beach is amazing. Or we get dressed up just to walk the strip and find some good food. We will definitely be coming back in the near future. Thank you!

Great Location!

Property was exactly as described. We rented this property for a girls weekend trip. There were four of us and we were very comfortable. Th duplex was within walking distance to restaurants and shopping and the best part was walking out the door directly onto the beach. Property manager was quick to answer any questions we had. We didn't have any problems with the rental at all. We would definitely stay here again.

Location!

The location was amazing. Looking out over the ocean and being able to walk to the shops and restaurants but being away from the crowds was the great. Andrew was quick to respond with any problems or questions! The place does need updating and it could use a really good cleaning, there was stuff behind and under the dressers when the cleaners come they need to move the furniture and clean!

The pictures in the listing tell it all. You are right on the beach. While the beach is busy each day, it's not nearly as full as spots just south of here. Yes, the garbage trucks coming by at 6:00 am isn't the most convenient, but you can't control that. Restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance. Great vacation.

Absolutely magical stay — 5 stars all the way!This Clearwater Beach House is a true hidden gem that captures the charm and tranquility of Old Florida like no other place we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the unbeatable location — you’re literally steps from the soft white sand and the soothing sounds of the Gulf. No crowded resorts, no elevators or concrete corridors — just your own private slice of paradise.The home itself is immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. With three full bathrooms, two serene bedrooms (each with a balcony and stunning ocean views!), and a deck off the main living area, there was plenty of space for our family to relax and unwind. The view of the sunset each evening was nothing short of breathtaking — and thanks to the home’s smart design, we never missed a single one.The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the overall vibe was peaceful, clean, and welcoming. We loved walking the beach up to Caladesi Island, and when we wanted a bit more action, Pier 60 and its shops, restaurants, and entertainment were just a short stroll away.Extra touches like covered parking, beach gear, and a third full bathroom on the main floor made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable.This is not just a rental — it’s a rare beachfront experience that’s becoming harder and harder to find. Great Location

The location was definitely the best part! The house needs lots of tlc. Most was cosmetic and easy to look past. Very little of all kitchen items such as pans, dishes, silverware, glasses. There were less chairs in the dining room and balcony than in the listing pictures. The blankets were dirty when we arrived and the floors felt slummy. The neighbors were up all night partying and constantly had way too many cars on the street. Trash trucks and landscaping guys woke us up before 7 am each morning. We did enjoy our week but will look for cleaner and more accommodating next trip.

Old condo with sparse supplies in great location

The location of this VRBO is fantastic — our family loved the amazing ocean view and walking out onto the beautiful beach every day via our own private path. There a ton of fun restaurants nearby within walking distance, too. The condo itself might benefit from some updating and a better-working A/C system; things seemed a bit old and musty, the main floor TV didn’t seem to work, etc. There were very few supplies when we arrived including no liner for the kitchen trash can (glad we noticed before putting trash in there!), no starting Kcups for the coffee maker, only 2 mugs big enough to fit an 8oz volume of coffee in them (the rest in the cabinet were tiny tea cups), no laundry detergent, and just 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom with no backup rolls at all. Surprisingly, we didn’t see any beach toys either. As such, if you stay here you should plan on making a trip to the nearby CVS or grocery store! Another minor point: the stair baby gates at the VRBO were flimsy and functionally useless, so we had to come up with our own creative ways to prevent kids from toppling down the stairs.

Great location! Couldn’t ask for better views. We loved everything about this place. It’s not fancy, but I wouldn’t expect it to be…It’s a beach house. It wasn’t super clean (in a deep cleaned sense), but it was cleaned and cared for between guests. The only thing I would warn other guests about that it is clearly is a rental and there are NO extra “things” around. For example, the only scissors in the place was a kitchen scissors. You won’t find an extra bag, rubber band, cleaning product, or even a broom anywhere. It’s stocked only with essentials. Which is totally fine, but just odd compared to many places I’ve stayed. Overall, it’s a cute place and you’re paying for location over luxury, but if that’s your style, it’s perfect! We’ll book again in a heartbeat if we come back to the area.

The house was clean, right on the beach, and very quiet. It's within walking distance to alot of restaurants, shops, and activities but it's just far enough away that it's peaceful. It was perfect for my wife and I.

The proximity to the beach was wonderful! Walking distance to restaurants and shops. The house is kind of dated and it would be a lot nicer if all of the old carpeting was taken out. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay again.

My favorite place to stay on Clearwater Beach

We've stayed here before, and will definitely stay here again. As pointed out in quite a few other reviews, this is the best location on the beach.Or, should I say "in the beach" as this beach house is tucked in behind two sand dunes - at least one of which currently has a turtle nesting in it. She made a surprise detour across the back of the property and it was amazing to watch her make her way to the dune!This is a quiet neighborhood, but just a short walk south (which our kids like) is all the activity of Pier 60 and South Clearwater Beach. A leisurely beach walk (a few miles) north brings you to the natural beauty of Caladesi Island. (My favorite beach walk.) The gulf front beach views are unparalleled - from every room, including the kitchen. There are porches from each bedroom, as well as from the dining room, which provides a lovely place to work or read while still being "at the beach." You will never miss a sunset. I'm always sad to leave and look forward to visiting again.
