Was very pleased with the place! They were still rebuilding from the hurricane so it wasn’t “perfect”. But I have full confidence when the rebuilding process is done that you will be very pleased with this place!

Short Stay

We had a great time. Weather was perfect, condo not too far from the beach. Only complaint is there are NO POOL HOURS. Had loud people in the pool at 2:00 in the morning. The association needs to enforce pool hours at night.

Awesome property, marginal room

Outdated/uncomfortable furniture. No fan in bathroom, dirty sheets, asked for different sheets, they had holes. TV in living room died. Facilities were awesome, met some great people. Will be checking out staying there again in different room.

St Pete week getaway

Nice property. Cannot beat the access to great restaurants, bars, shopping etc. The condo could be a five star with a few simple improvements including: working ice maker, lemonade pitcher, more beach towels new coffee maker /pot (handle broken) more TP and paper towels. Also it would be nice to include instructions on how to work the lock to eliminate new user experimentation on lock/unlock procedure. Beach location great, bed very comfortable TV & shower great .. covered the basics very well.

Be clear when renting

Please be sure to let renters know that there are large rocks blocking beach view. We were aware we were above the pool but it was loud. Couldn’t find garbage area outside I would clean condo a little more. Other than that we enjoyed our stay

Great Property!

everything about our stay was ideal. The unit was as advertised. Everything worked well. We had stayed in these units before and the facility (location, beach, pool) was wonderful. While everything was comfortable I would suggest upgrades regarding the roll away bed mattress and the pullout mattress in the couch. The unit is on the first floor with the balcony directly above the pool filter which one hears constantly when on the balcony. It doesn’t eliminate the beauty of the view but it may be a distraction for some. Overall, a great stay. Thank you!

COULD EASILY HAVE BEEN five star

Caprice Resort is an ideal setting for a great vacation, steps from heated pool and the ideal St. Pete's Beach. The majority of condos are managed by the management company on site. This unit, however, is one of a few at Caprice that is managed by others off site. We were shocked to enter the condo that smelled stale, did not have the cleanliness that is expected, or the appropriate & necessary start up supplies that anyone would expect; We needed to buy several such items before we even unpacked. We are retired, love to travel, and have stayed in many condos. We have a stellar rating as renters, and always appreciate the communications with the owners, some who have become good friends. Communication here was lacking, and it appeared that many of the issues could have been avoided if there had been better over site by owners or management, especially regarding contents and quality of cleaning .

Sunny getaway

Sleeps 2. Definitely shouldn’t say it sleeps more than that. The cover on the cot was filthy, the pull out couch is out dated and NOT usable. Unit definitely needs a deep cleaning, especially floors, corners too. The beach chairs and closet were covered in sand, some were broken. Kitchen was updated, well equipped and clean, and there is plenty of clothing storage dressers and closet space for the 4 of us. Bathroom is outdated, shower head is barely functional, and tub faucet sprays out onto floor making a mess. Patio balcony was nice, but those chairs need to go. And the doors do not open well. The building should have security and cameras in hallway. Overall we had a great time, I would stay again with just 2 of us. The location was walking distance to everything we needed, except grocery store.

Still rented unit knowing issues.Please take the time to read.

Upon arriving, my husband and myself were meeting another couple. So we looked around very briefly. After noticing a TV that was hung crooked and a few pictures, we set our luggage in the bedroom and went out and had dinner with our friends. We made it back to the property around 10 PM, we went to go and look at the view. Upon opening the sliding door we discovered, it was unlocked. Trying to lock the door it would not lock. After calling Itrips several times with no success, I waited to contact them first thing in the morning. It took a couple hours for them to get back with me which delayed the next excursion on our vacation. Midday, somebody did come out with a make shift door stopper, that was as flimsy a curtain rod. The gentleman that came out could not even install it. He also stated the door needed to be replaced. The owner knew this and still rented. My husband ended up having to do the work. On day 3 they came out with a new lock. Going back to day 2 when I proceeded to take a shower I noticed mold on the shower curtain , mold on the soap dish and a showerhead full of soap scum! Last but not least, on our last day in the morning as I was doing dishes a gentleman walked in our room as I was standing in my underwear and would not leave! Continued to stare until husband asked him nicely to get out and talk through the door! He still stood there staring. Needless to say, the only compensation was a refund of the cleaning fee. They were very rude and did not care!

Area is prefectly located on the beach. Apartment over looked the pool and beach.Apartment needs better supervision on cleaning, quite a few dihes were very dirty, apartment over all could have been cleaned better. behind the bed items of past renter on floor and quite alot of dust. Beside that the place is awesome. Highly recommend it. The staff on property are very helpful and nice. Would rent again once those few things are corrected

Much needed vacation

We had such a great time on this trip! We checked into the property on time and the place was wonderful. The process was so easy. We received multiple emails with all the information we would need while we were there and anytime we had a question, we sent a quick text and got an immediate response. The space was perfect for my husband and I and the balcony had a good view of the beach. We were able to walk down to the beach every morning and rent a cabana and chairs to have for the day. There were a few chairs in the closet for us to use but we wanted lounge chairs so it worked out great. The pool was close to our balcony but we didn't mind it at all. If you are looking for a quiet balcony it's perfect for an early morning cup of coffee. There are so many fun beachy restaurants to walk to along with some very fun bars. We always felt safe and will definitely be coming back. It was a great time and much needed relaxation.
Coconut Charlies! Such a fun place to listen to live music every night, have great food and drinks and it was an easy walk down the beach!

My sister and I stayed here for a relaxing vacation in St Pete Beach. We enjoyed ourselves. Walking distance to great restaurants. We will definitely consider coming back.
