This cozy 5th floor studio apt is perfect for 2 guests, with 1 queen size bed, and a comfy sofa! Here you'll enjoy a full bathroom, under the bed drawers for your clothing, and a thoughtfully placed table to enjoy meals or coffee while soaking in your STUNNING VIEW. Condo is equipped with Roku, WIFI, coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, stove-top, beach towels, even a starter pack that includes dish soap, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, and paper towels. (This unit does not have a balcony but does have sliding glass doors that open.) This resort is RIGHT ON THE BEACH, located near many grocery stores, shops, restaurants and bars. Want to stay close? No problem! Just walk down to the ONSITE TIKI BAR by your HEATED POOL, which serves small snacks and has a full bar!! Walk straight out of your condo and onto to the white sands of Treasure Island for a beach stroll, or enjoy a game of beach volleyball and cornhole. Across the street from the resort is an extra parking lot and 2 private boat docks.

We love staying at the Island Inn! Having the bar and pool right there is wonderful! Our room though was in need of some maintenance.

Not a VRBO
As the title states this is not what I think of when reserving a VRBO. The room was very small with very little capacity for cooking own meals and had no dinning table. Basically an efficiency hotel room. There was a ceiling fan in room that had no way of running without light on. No separate controls. The closet had unused building materials taking up room. It was obvious the room renovations had not been completed prior to our arrival. We asked to have room serviced and get fresh sheets and towels. We were told by property manager to launder our own sheets and towels. We were not happy with that, so they delivered fresh towels and sheets. For the first 5 days there were no curtains on window and sliding door. No privacy. We brought this to attention of property manager and they had a curtain installed on our 5th day. This also meant that we had to get out of room by 9 AM the day it was installed. Overall, very disappointed.

I loved the room
Loved room & view was the best!!! I wish there was 2 chairs for balcony I had to hunt one up so we both could enjoy sitting out!!! Wish I could have had a broom in the room to have kept things swept up but over all loved everything about this place & will definitely return!!!!

Small , but good for 2 people . View was nice . Didn’t think there was a balcony, but to our surprise they have added one . Beach is nice , Tiki Bar was great . It is a bit of a walk to get anywhere.

DON’T STAY HERE!!
This was our 7th time staying at the Island Inn and the most disappointing room I’ve had. They let us check in early which was great since our flight arrived at 11. The room was very dirty, sand dust and dirt and hair all over floors (our feet were black after walking around), cook top covered in grease, bathroom shower with orange soap stains all over it and hard to control hot/cold water handle control. Mold and soap stains on shower curtain. Only 2 wash clothes for 4 people and pillows were flat and old. Sofa stained everywhere, stunk and we didn’t even want to sit on it. Had to remove sheets from one of the bunk beds and place over top of it. One of property management staff was amazing and came and steam cleaned our floors and swept unit. She also brought more pillows and towels. She was the sweetest lady but obviously only so much she could do. After she left I opened cabinets and drawers and there were gross ant traps, dirt, filthy dishes and no organization. Soy sauce and mustard packets- some open and oozing on silverware/dishes. Crumbs and dirt in every cabinet and drawer- paper towel was black after cleaning. Had to clean the rest of the place myself, clean out cabinets and drawers, wash all the dishes and organize everything. No hand soap was provided. The dish drying rack was covered in white gunk and mold- had to clean that out in the shower. Bunk bed very wobbly, built with plywood, and only big enough for a toddler to sleep on. Felt like it was going to collapse. Kids had to sleep in my mom’s room. Hair on our bedsheets and the comforter stunk. Pillows in pillow shams were yellow and stained. The queen bed was also wobbly and made a loud screeching noise every time you rolled over in bed. Throw pillows also stained. Super uncomfortable mattress. The windows look like they hadn’t been cleaned for several years. Tv had no remote for volume and tv had no controls for volume. Only a Roku remote. Bathroom fan stuffed with dirt and dust- I don’t think it was even functioning properly. They brought us a new comforter and said they would reimburse cleaning fee. I felt that the room quality, cleanliness, furnishings and supplies were not worth the cost we paid. I asked for additional reimbursement (more than just cleaning fee) and they said no because we checked in early then ignored several messages the rest of the trip. . I wish I could post pictures on this review. Still have not seen cleaning fee reimbursement. Don’t stay here!!!

The instructions for entry were not clear nor how to lock the door, no TV remote found anywhere and when we contacted management about this twice no reply. The twin beds that are shown in picture are not safe for anyone. The top one is about to break. Location was fine and pool was great.

Treasure Island - Island Inn
We stayed at the Island Inn and the location is amazing - the beach is endless and you can walk for miles. Room was ok for just the two of us. Bed was very uncomfortable. Needs new mattress would help tremendously. They patio-isn't really a patio- can't even open up the door-which would have been a plus for the room-since it is on a side view of the beach. Having access to use the grills on site were nice to have. Overall it was a nice stay and will definitely come back to Treasure Island. Walking distance to grocery store and other attractions

Location, location, location
Not sure if I’m supposed to be reviewing the whole Island Inn property or just my unit. Property in general was nice with a good location and beach front and walking distance to a number of nice places to eat. The unit description was misleading. It said it had a balcony, that was not true. It was just a railing across the opening of nice sliding glass doors. I was disappointed at first but it worked out. I bought some camping chairs to pull up to the rail. The light and fan on the ceiling fan could not be operated separately as the pull chain was probably snapped off, therefore, you couldn’t use it just as a fan. The garbage can was all busted up and the throw pillows on the beds weren’t very appealing. These are a couple buck fixes that should be fixed. Also, the refrigerator needs to be replaced, constantly leaked water on top of groceries and the door didn’t close unless you made a conscious effort to do that. The slides for the vegetable drawers were broken. The bathroom fan was not switched separately from the light so couldn’t use as a night lite. Would I stay there again, yes.

Waste of money.
The WORST rental experience I have ever had. When we were finally able to get into our room, we noticed it was very hot and could hear people talking. That was because the sliding door was off the track letting hot air in. I called the after hours number to get it fixed and was told “I’m only the maintenance guy” while someone in the background was telling him to hurry up and get off the phone. He also told me “Oh yeah I know that door is messed up, it has been for a couple YEARS.” He said I would have to call someone from the office (after hours on a Saturday....HE was the after hours number). I finally reach someone from the office and she also tells me that they’ve known this door has been messed up, that she will have to get someone to come fix it. My big question was after I drove fifteen hours to come to vacation why wasn’t it fixed before I got there. I told her at this point I did not want to stay with them and would like some sort of refund. She was going to make some phone calls. She calls me back and says there’s nothing she can do but have her BOSS come fix the door. So he was aware they rented a room that was messed up as well. No refund, no new room. It was unbelievable how rude and how ridiculous the situation was handled. I had this room booked all week and did NOT stay there one night. It was completely paid for. I went down the road and paid for another room for a whole week without any issues at all. So this room was a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!
