Lack of professionalism
Let me start off by saying the house is as pictured, however, sand under all furniture, the smell of mold, and being watched by the owner the entirety of our stay was not what we had in mind when booking this property. We checked in, following all directions, we had friends staying at another rental less than a mile away from us. Upon arriving we received texts saying we needed to pay more money if the two additional people were staying on site. I responded via text to let them know that our friends were staying off site from the property and if they weren't allowed to visit us, that it would be fine, as we wanted to stay within the parameters the owner had set. We got a response saying that it was all good and to enjoy our stay. The next day, we got another text from the owner saying that "they knew we had 7 people staying and we needed to vacate the property in 4 hours or pay an extra fee for the extra people staying on site." So I called the property mgnmt company. And after being on hold for 20 minutes I talked to a gentleman who asked me to give the confirmation of our friends rental to him. (MAJOR BREACH OF PRIVACY) So I told him where they were staying and he said by doing that, it would be good enough for the owners. The last night we were there my daughters 7 & 8 were showering when the shower head fell off of the pipe and almost hit both of them. I texted and call property mgnmnt to let them know and when we got home they wanted to charge me for their faulty shower.
