Wonderful Stay

The unit was the perfect size for my husband and I. The view was outstanding and loved having a Tiki Bar at the pool. The management team for I Trips were incredible. We would highly recommend them and definitely use them for our future trips

We wanted to get away from frigid Indiana for a long weekend, and we knew from friends that this area had taken a real beating from the hurricanes last year, so we decided to contribute a little to the local economy. Boy, did we make the right choice. The views of the Gulf from the private balcony are outstanding, and having a heated pool and restaurant/bar on the premises is so nice. The area is still recovering, so some of the shops and restaurants are still closed, but we were able to find plenty for us. At this price point, I would rate it as one of the top two or three properties we have stayed at. Communication with the management was perfect, and they meet our requests promptly and completely.

Close to restaurants, trolley stops right outside and will take you all along the beach. Nice place with plenty of room for 2 people.

Gorgeous View!!

This VRBO had such an amazing view! We definitely enjoyed our stay. The king bed was the best because it's so hard to find a place for a couple with a king! If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely look into this property again!

We absolutely love The Island Inn. Rm 323 is so cute and clean. This was our third visit and we've never encountered any problems. We hope to come back year after year.

Amazing waterfront location!

Our stay here was great, waking up to the gulf was awesome and the location was perfect distance from cool sites. I do however wish it was a bit more clean. The couch had old stains on it, floor felt dirty and the bed set felt picky and not cozy.

Great view!

Unit is small, but great for a couple. The balcony is small but offers a great place to view the gorgeous sunsets! However the balcony is just above the pool area and tiki bar so this may not be the unit for you if you’re looking for quiet evenings. Building is older but will be undergoing renovations soon. Not much within walking distance as this is in a mostly residential area, but there are some great restaurants that are a quick, easy drive from the unit.

Great location and beautiful view

This property was great, it was beautiful and central to many other stores/places nearby. My only complaint was that the place wasn’t very clean. There was a used water bottle on the counter and hair/sand on the sheets when we arrived. The blankets also smelled. The property manager responded right away though and replaced our bedding so that was really nice! I’d plan on bringing your own bedding/a blanket if you visit here though.

The unit was filthy when we arrived. We paid 200+ dollars cleaning fee and show up to a dirty room. We had to go buy Lysol wipes ourselves to clean. The unit itself is old with peeling paint on all the doors. It’s as if the owners were forced to upgrade the permanent fixtures but the sheets are knobby, fixtures are rusty, paint is peeling and NOTHING has been cleaned in forever.

Cute place but uncomfortable bed

The condo is decorated nicely bit the bed is super uncomfortable. Your body sinks down considerably and Both my husband and I woke up with soar backs every morning. So glad we are checking out today and looking forward to my own bed tonight where I can get some healthy rest. Also, our keys had to be recoded almost every day. Extremely inconvenient. Hotel and Tiki Bat staff were all super nice and the location was perfect.

Beautiful sunsets!

Great location just steps to the beach. Everything in the unit was pretty much as described. There is a Publix grocery store very close by. The tiki bar was wonderful! Great evening cocktails. The bathroom was small, but the water pressure in the shower was fantastic! The air conditioning worked perfectly, nice & cold! The beds were just Ok. For the sleeper sofa, probably would be fine for young kids, but not adults. The king size bed could probably use an upgrade, but it wasn’t horrible. My only criticism of the room was the coffee maker. It would have been nice to have a keurig or single cup coffee maker rather than the old 10-12 cup maker that takes forever to brew & is very noisy.

Great view and location but noisy/needs updated and cleaned

The view is beautiful and the location being by the trolley stop and a walk in either direction to restaurants was nice. We will not be going back. This place needs updated and if we went back, we would go with a room further from the pool. The pool was very loud where people were congregating and lots of little kids, screaming most parts of the day. Floors needed cleaned better. The bathroom needs completely gutted with old mold and rust throughout. The bed was stiff and hurt our backs by the end of the stay. The kitchen was ok. Appliances were good but kitchen had one plug on opposite side of sink so coffee and toasters cords had to reach across sink!

Great Balcony View

Pros- great balcony Gulf view & good location. Cons-went to go to bed the first night & had sandy sheets so they obviously weren’t changed!! How gross! I was shocked! Gratefully there was a spare set so I didn’t have to do laundry as I was ready for bed. I let iTrip know the following day. There was no apology or attempt to make it right, just a thanks for letting us know so they could address it with the cleaning service. The drapes had mold, the room smelled & the furniture was moldy& dirty. The stovetop did work but not with the large frying pan provided & I did have to giggle the electrical cord underneath to get power at times also. There were review responses previously of the room being deep cleaned but this definitely hasn’t happened anytime recently. The other iTrip rooms also had many negative reviews on the cleaning so not sure why they haven’t gotten a new cleaning service. Unfortunately, I will not be staying in an iTrip room again.

Pros: great view from balcony Nice beach Nice pool Cons: upon arrival, refrigerator was dirty with spilled food. ITrip came and cleaned it. - We blew a fuse when we used the microwave. I called ITrip again. They responded pretty quickly, so that was good. We had to wait, just as it was getting dark, until they reset the fuse. Then we were nervous about using the microwave again. They offered us a free explorit activity. - The plates and kitchen utensils didn’t seem clean. This unit does not have a dishwasher. We had to to rewash everything before using. - We came home one night and neither of our keys worked. We had to stand around in a very windy breezeway while the maintenance man was there. Then he had to go downstairs and bring up a device to unlock the door. That didn’t work, because the batteries were dead in the door. He had to basically take the lock apart, replace the batteries, put the lock together again and then go make new key cards. This took close to an hour, when we were tired and just wanted to get onto our room and go to sleep. - The blue drapes have mold along the bottom of them. - The bathroom floor tile is moldy around the bathtub. - The room smells weird, probably because of the mold. - The bathroom door, both wood and paint, are peeling at the bottom. They look terrible. - The remote for the TV hardly works. We tried replacing the batteries, but that didn’t make a difference. - the light in the bathroom is incredibly dim. And there isn’t a window in the room, so it’s really dark in there. - The bed creaks loudly, whenever you move. Needless to say, we were very disappointed in our stay there.
